After 30 minutes a doctor finally came. " Family of A'Journee Cole ! "
We all stood up and walked to him.
" We did all we could, unfortunately she slipped into a coma " The doctor said.
" Do you know when she'll wake up ? " Mouraa' asked ?
" Could be days, weeks, months. She lost alot of blood and if she would have made it here any later, it would've been a lot worse " He told us then walked away. _______________________________________
It's been a month since the doctor told us that Journee had slipped into a coma. I go to the hospital to see her everyday that I can.
Not much has happened with me, since she's not here my whole life has been on pause.
I was currently walking up to her hospital room and as I approached it I see it's empty so I walked to the receptionist.
" Hey do you know what happened to the patient in room 213" I asked her panicking on the low.
" Ummm yes she has been moved to room 330 " She said smiling.
Instead of responding I just walked off to find room 330.
" 325, 326, 327, 328, 329 " I counted. " Damn, finally 330" I said while opening the room door.
Walking into the room I see her up watching spongebob and eating jello.
" Hi Miri " She said looking at me, smiling.
" Wassup " I said.
After that we sat in an uncomfortable silence so I got up and walked to the bathroom.
As bad as I wanted to go hug and kiss that girl I still felt some type of way. She'll never understand how much I love her.
" Are you mad at me " She asked as soon as I walked out the bathroom, staring a hole in the side of my face.
" More so disappointed " I said.
" You're ashamed of me huh " She asked turning back towards the TV.
" Ashamed ? Never. Just disappointed like I said " I told her.
" You are ashamed. You can't even look at me " She said. I finally looked at her and seen tears streaming down her cheeks.
" You think I wanna see somebody I love laying in a hospital bed. You know how I feel about hospitals and more importantly you know how I feel about you so why would even think that huh " I spoke trying not to get frustrated because why would she even say that.
" Nobody loves me for real. I'm just holding you guys back " She said while crying.
Getting up I walked to her, and looked her dead in her eyes " Ion know what type of crack you sniffing but if I didn't love you I wouldn't have said it. If I didn't love you I wouldn't have stayed here. IF I DIDN'T LOVE YOU I WOULDN'T HAVE LEAD YOU ON " I told her raising my voice.
" I'm sorry sir but could you keep your voice down please " A nurse opened the door and said.
" Yeah sorry ma'am " I told her while going to grab my keys. " I'm just gone leave. I'll be back later "
" O-Ok " She said.
Giving her a kiss on the forehead I walked out the room.
Walking out the hospital I see Miya, Mouraa, Jania and Jayvien walking in.
" Hey Miri " Miya said looking tired.
" Wassup y'all " I said speaking to them.
" Is she still up " Mouraa asked.
" Yeah she was when I just left. She talking crazy" I said shaking my head.
" What you mean " Miya asked.
" She talking about nobody loves her and she thinks she's holding all of us back. I had to set her straight but I gotta go get some rest or some so i'll be back later " I said hugging them and dapping up Jayvien.
Maybe I can get some sleep now that she's up. Nobody knows how much I love and missed that girl.
