the next day in the conference room...

The group of teens are standing around the big conference table, Lin explaining the plan once again.

"Okay, so you all got the plan?" Lin asks everyone standing around the table. When everyone nodded, he looks at Kitana "I know you can do this Mija, just do what the others do and for god's sake please don't fall off Saya's motorcycle" he says, shaking his head.

Truth is, Kitana could be quite clumsy. A great example of this is that one time she accidentally ran against a wall and broke her arm. Or that time she tried to jump from a table she needed to stand on to close the upper windows in a classroom and faceplanted on the carpet. So Lin's advice was very much needed if he wanted his niece back in one piece.

Billy snorts and jabs her in the ribs making her glare at him before answering her uncle with a "Meh can't promise anything but hey, maybe they'll give me a pink cast this time!"

After each teenager arrived at their destination, they start communicating over the comms each of them received.

Since Kitana and Maria were both part Mexican, Lin assigned them to the streets and let them dress up so they could enjoy it at least a little bit.

The dimly lit streets were packed with colorfully clothed people. Some wearing sombreros, some wearing dresses and almost all of them wearing skeleton makeup. Under them, Maria and Kitana herself.

The girls were wearing beautiful crimson-red dresses with black corsets. A red flower in each of their hair-dos and the skeleton makeup covering their sweet faces made the two look like sisters, each of them equipped with bladed fans, two sais, and some shuriken that were strapped to their thighs.

While they kept dancing, Saya was overlooking the situation from one of the rooftops, Billy and Willie walking around, looking for the teenage boy.

The festival music echoed through the streets, making Kiana's heart thump with every beat. She once again scanned the crowd before her eyes landed on a boy about her age.

He stood blatantly with his piercing blue jacket, the hood covering his dark curls. He looked her straight in the eyes and she realized he must've been high out of his mind. He watched her every move until he was abruptly grabbed by the shoulders.

"Yo." Willie pointed to a pair of cops that were following him, making Marcus' eyes widen. He started stumbling backward and disappearing in the crowd, trying to escape the cops which were now closer than a few seconds ago.

Kitana watched the boy from afar, nodding at Maria and grabbing her own fan before they took off after the cops, discreetly slashing their legs with the fans. Billy joined the two, lifting his skateboard and hitting the two officers repeatedly before throwing it onto the ground and skating off.

Marcus started running in the direction of the parking garage which was not too far from the festival but far enough for the cops to hopefully lose him.

Arriving on the third level, he thought he was safe. That was until he heard an engine running. Sprinting to the end of the level it turned out it wasn't one of the police cars but it was Saya on her motorcycle. As she abruptly stopped in front of him, the only two words she said were "Get on."
