The restaurant took place in a gigantic building, glazed by the lights at the bottom by the entrance. The entrance had two big glass doors, framed in what seemed like gold. There was a red velvet carpet the lead from the outside of the restaurant to the inside. The door man opened the doors, giving a slight greeting,"Right, this way sirs." They both pattered in, following the carpet, only to be stunned by the view. The ceiling was decorated in the most delicately elaborate chandeliers, underneath the recreated renaissance paintings. A woman behind a desk, emerged in front of them, and motioned her arms to the direction of an elevator. The elevator seemed to be made of what the doors were framed with. The flooring was a beautiful blue textile, with gorgeous white detailed flowers. Once, they reached their designated floor, the doors opened to a giant room, filled with a insatiable amount of red covered tables. Placed with the most distinguished people. They could hear multiple sounds of conversations and glasses clinking. A man dressed in an uniformed tux, led them to their table. They sat at a table for two, two sirs helping them to their seat, placing a fabric napkin on their laps.
Daffy was extremely nervous, he fiddled his fingers on the table. A sir came to them, bringing them a menu.
Bugs just smiled, ordered his meal and looked to Daffy who was struggling to get any words out. He chuckled to himself before he decided to help him.
Daffy wiped the nervousness off his face and looked to Bugs, who seemed like he was enjoying himself. "Heheh, y'know... You fit right in with that collar of yours." Daffy looked to his neck placing his hand on the jewelry around him. "What? My pearls?"
"Yep!"
"Oh." The duck smiled, Bugs' remark somehow made him feel a little less inept. The waiters placed their meal in front of them, and then left back to the kitchen. It was time, the duck thought to himself. He had to tell Bugs the truth about what was happening. He made fists and placed them on the table, not even thinking about his food. "So, Bugs?"
Bugs looked up from his meal,"yeah?"
"I actually have to confess something..."
The rabbits eyes widened to a duck fiddling with his fingers. "What's up?"
He fiddled with his fingers a lil more before making fists and narrowing his eyebrows," i want to tell you the truth, about why i wanted to go out tonight." Bugs tightened his fists, he wasn't sure about what Daffy was gonna say and it frightened him. "Just listen for a moment okay?" He whispered a smile. "About what that news reporter said... Its not all wrong... Before this job... I was about to be fired. I was living on the street and... I had no where to go... I was eating garbage til you found me at that stairwell. And, i want to ask a huge favor... Can i stay with you a lil longer? I know... We've already filmed our short but-"
"Yes."
"Huh?" Daffy looked to a very serious Bugs, sitting infront of him.
"Daffy... You can always stay with me."
The duck's eyes opened," But... I.... I just don't want to be a freelo-"
"You're not a freeloader! I want you there! And if you're that worried about it, considering all the calls we're getting, you can pay me pack with the checks your gonna get, okay?"
Daffy smiled,"okay!"
"Alright, lets eat our meal, it was $250 for each of us."
Daffy dropped his spoon,"$250 for this?!
Its literally something i could make at home!" He hurriedly stuffed his face, before his food started to get cold. Bugs blinked in shock, Daffy not even realizing what he said. "Home" he thought to himself. It was our home.

The waiter came by to offer their drink.
Bugs ordered a drink called "a one night stand" and Daffy inevitably ordered something called a "Geisha girl" drink. The most dramatic drink on the menu, which somehow costed the exact same. They placed a tray in front of the duck, with a beautiful glass filled with a pink liquid, with a pink blossom sitting beside it. Meanwhile, Bugs' drink was the "average joe" type beat. Bugs could not believe the happiness Daffy was emitting from this drink. "Well, look at how gorgeous she is!" Daffy traced he hand against the glass, showcasing his drink before immediately chugging it down. Bugs just sipped his drink, in a I-don't-know-him type of way.
It was at this moment, Daffy ate his blossom," Wait, I don't think you're supposed to eat it-", and then continued to stuff his pockets with the bread and butter, that was served to the table.
Bugs rubbed his fingers to his forehead, and just looked at Daffy embarrassed. "What? This is how you make it even!"
Bugs just laughed it off at his absurdity.
"Alright, you done eating? Lets go. Heh."

Bugs got up and folded the napkin that was once on his lap, onto the table. Whereas.... Daffy just continued to walk until it slid down his leg and onto the floor. A waiter eyed an embarrassed Bugs, picked up the napkin, folded it, and placed it back on the table. Bugs quickly turned around, grabbing Daffy's arm, and leading him to the elevator. His face was vigorously red,"I'm gonna cry..! Ah!"
Daffy gave Bugs a confused look, "What? Was it the bread?"
Bugs rubbed his cheeks. "Well I'm sorry we all can't be Mr.Hollywood. Hmmf." Bugs stayed quiet until they made it to the car. And due to his silence, Daffy was worried if he was actually mad at him. They buckled in, Daffy just stared at Bugs the whole time, carefully sitting in his chair. Bugs notices this and looked to his friend, still embarrassed. "What I do?", he yelped to Bugs. He sighed, almost crying,"You forgot about...your napkin... And it just slid down your leg... In the middle of the room...and the waiter... Eyed me the entire time he folded it up... Everybody just looked..." He buried his head in his hands. Daffy's eyes widened in shock, and his cheeks began to hastily change to a deep red.
They sat in that parking lot for a while, just flaming red. No music or nothing.
After a couple of minutes, Bugs slapped his cheeks, and began to put his car in drive and exit the parking lot.
Daffy was still stunned until they reached a red light, and slowly turned to face Bugs. He looked back slowly at his friendly. And gradually they both grew a smile on their face, and proceeded to laugh. They laughed some more and played music in the background, gradually changing from laughs to singing and Daffy obnoxiously dancing.
When they finally made it home, they both collapsed on the couch, exhausted. Bugs sitting up and laying his head back, hanging off the back of the couch, and spreading his arms and legs out. Daffy fell on his back, resting his head on Bugs' lap, leaving his arms and legs flayed out messily. They took a big sigh and rested for a while. Daffy got up after knocking out for about 30 minutes, to use the restroom. Bugs stayed asleep while he got up. Daffy washed his hands and face, taking off his blazer, and looked at himself in the mirror. He remembered how neat and pampered he was before left, and groaned at how long it took to get ready, just for it to get ruined. And then he remembered a certain rabbits voice. "What? I like it better messy!"
He looked to his hair, and began to blush deeply. "Like." He thought to himself. He focused on that word for a bit, just in a daze and thinking about the day he spent with Bugs. He splashing some water onto his face once more, noticing the light blush deepening and then- ring ring ring!
"That's the landline!"
He quickly skedaddled to the kitchen where the phone hung on the wall.
"Uh, Hello..?", he covered an end of the phone so whoever was talking wouldn't be loud enough to wake Bugs.
"U-u-h, oh, Hi Daffy!", it was porky.
Daffy was confused as to why Porky was calling so late... Or rather so early in the morning. "Listen, Pork, I know i told you to call, but i didn't think you would this soon..!"
He could hear that stuttered laugh on the other end of the call. "Uh-dah, N-n-o silly! I w-w-wanted to d-d-da ask you how your d-d-date went!". Daffy quirked his eyebrows,"Date? What date?" He could hear Porky giggle some more. "Oh, you know~ t-t-the one you had with B-bugs!". Daffy blushed heavily,"What are you talking about?". He could basically hear Porky's nervous sweat," O-oh Dear.... I guess i got it wrong, budee-duh, sorry, Daffy."
Daffy was now curious, "Where'd you ever get an idea like that?". Porky giggled some more," Well, i always noticed a lot of c-c-chemistry between y-y-you two! I thought y-y-you were f-f-finally going out! Haha silly right?"
"No-! Why did he say anything about me?", Daffy comically "bit" his nails.
"Huh? Oh, d-d-duh-uh, No, it was just something I noticed. Duh-d-d-duh, why?". Daffy covered his face with his hands, embarrassed. "Uh.., no reason!" And with that he hung up the phone. He faced his back to the wall and relaxed his weight unto it, sliding down. "Go out? Me....and Bugs..? Me and Bugs?" He thought to himself. "Me and Bugs." He smiled.
"Uh-oh....oh no...." His eyes widened. "I like Bugs...!"
