Ch.15- Deals and feels

Author's note:  Did yall like that chap? I did. A lot. We love to see growth here 😫. Also I Seen the new space jam movie the other day, i stayed up to 3 am est and watched it the minute it came out and i can just say .... I LOVED IT IDC
that is all. Also the first part of this chap could be considered a side story~ id still read it tho 👀 its just tying up loose ends from the last chapter

A couple of days had passed. The first reaction... Err well the next days reaction, after coming back home, Daffy was bewildered by how much he missed the house. He had notice the couch he had picked out had a few food stains and nagged at Bugs about it. They spent their days as close as could be.
After those couple of days, Porky had finally made it back home. Petunia had dropped him off, and promised to call him when she got back home.
The first thing Porky noticed was how quiet the house was... No TV being played, no boom box shouting the loudest of tunes, and no Daffy in sight... Not to mention, his house was somewhat the same it was before he left.
He started to panic. Maybe he should've told Daffy he was going vacation so he could have time to find a place to stay....
He searched up and down, bedrooms upstairs and the bathrooms. He finally made his way by the kitchen and noticed his keys were missing, he checked to see if his car was go-
It was gone!
Porky started to worry, dripping bullets of sweat down his face. Daffy would never leave the place that long, nobody would keep him for that long... Unless he was kidnapped?!
The pig quickly called 911... Submitting a missing persons case, nationwide for his friend... It wasn't long before news stations picked up the story and broadcasted it everywhere.
"Uh-buh-di-uh Should I call Bugs?! He's probably seen the news by now! He's gonna kill me-!!", the pig was going hysterical.
A few more days had passed, Porky had become deeply depressed... His friend was missing... And the police couldn't find him... He suspected the worse... And, now he had no choice but confess to his best friend, the mistake he had made. He walked to his land line, which sat on the bar counter of his kitchen, and dialed Bugs's numbered.
When he answered, he could hear a clash of cacophony laughter and chatter.
"Uh-buh-duh Bugs...?"
"Yes, Pork?", their was a slight distracted flirtatious laugh.
"Uh... Its a about Daffy..-"
"-Pork, guess what?! Me and Daffy talked it out and we're back together again!"
"Say what...?"
"Yeah, he came back to the house! You don't have deal with his looney butt anymore!"
Porky could hear an annoyed yet flirtatious "hey!" In the background of his call.
It was at this moment Porky's world minimized for a second, and he had come to grasp what was happening.
"Oh.... That's great....I'm so happy for you two!" He sounded more nervous than usual, and he wasn't even stuttering.
"Pork, you ok? You sound a lil .... Off. Are you hiding something from me..?", Bugs was somewhat concerned and yet curious.
Porky chuckled nervously," Wah-ah me? NOOO~ Never~! You uh h-haven't by any chance watched the n-news have you...?"
Porky could hear the facial expression Bugs was giving him, through the phone.
"No... Daf have you watched the news today?!" By the way Bugs yelled he could tell they were in different room.
He could hear Daffy's barely eligible yell back,"Whattt???"
Porky could hear muffled steps from Bugs walking and then a more quieter,"Have you watched the news today?" The way he said it this time was more soft and sweet.
"Never heard of it-"
This answer lead to a very concerned and disappointed look from Porky and Bugs.
"I'm not surprised..." They thought to themselves.
But alas Porky let out a sigh of relief... And then remembered,"Hey, w-what happened to my car?"
He heard silence for a moment and then a sudden,"THE CAR??!!" they had spoke in unison.
"We forgot about it....!"
"You... YOU FORGOT MY C-CAR?! WHERE IS IT??"
He heard a slight nervous chuckle,"At the studio by the main office..."
"How long HAS IT BEEN THERE?"
He heard a few more silences before he heard some more steps and overheard Bugs whisper to Daffy,"How long has it been...?"
Daffy shrugged,"I don't know its been there since the day he left..."
That was when Porky passed out from the stress. Bugs heard the phone fall, and without a question he scurried to his car, Daffy following him.
They quickly drove to the cottage where Porky lived and broke in to see if he was ok.
Little did they know Porky had purchased a new security system, which alerted a body guard and then a police station if need be. Can you see where this is going..?
Porky awoke to Bugs shaking him.
"Porky you wanna explain something?"
Porky sat up,gaining back his consciousness. When he came to, his first vision was a very concerned and then angry Bugs. Porky glanced down to see a handcuff around Bugs' wrists.
He then looked to his left into the living room and hallway by the front door, a row of cops standing in front of him, and Daffy being held by the shoulder by a rescue team forcing him to wear a shock blanket. Of course, Daffy badgered at him the entire time.
He looked back to a upset Bugs. An officer came to Porky," We have found the missing person, Daffy Duck. It is being suspected that he kidnapped him for personal reasons and came to take you as well-"
"YEE-BUH-DEE-UH STOP! They live together! Bugs didn't kidnap anyone... And i fainted here from stress..."
The officer went back to Bugs, pulled out a small set of keys and let him loose, "You're free to go."
He watched Bugs trace his wrist where the handcuffs where, and looked down in shame. If only he had asked Bugs when he first got home, none of this would have happened.
Porky got up and tied up loose ends with the police and sent them on their way out.
When everyone left, Porky was then hounded by Bugs and Daffy. "You thought i was missing??!"
"And, you didn't think to ask me where he was first? Even if we weren't together i could've still help you look for him!"
Porky was scarred at first by their yelling and insinuations, but then got humble by seeing them back together after all these years, he chuckled warmly.
"What are you laughing at?",Daffy raised an eyebrow.
"Haha, nothing. I-It's just nice seeing you t-t-two together a-again!", the pig smiled.
The boys quieted for a moment, staring at each other and thinking about how ridiculous this situation was. Their stares turned into a laughing fit, Porky already forgetting about his car.
And for the rest of the night, the cracked a few cold ones, and sat at the couch watching game shows.
