Ch.12- Domestics

Author's note: Hiya again its me, RAE! Did you have fun with that chapter.... Because i did! That had to be one of my favorites! Also i wanted to give another heads up that this story will end at them getting hired for Space Jam 2, so we still have a lil ways to go ;3 also you're gonna have a hate-love relationship with this chap... Also it may or may not be long...

The years went by fast, they finished filming, celebrated with their other tune friends, and went back home. Their life style, was somewhat average. They had been together for almost three years now, keeping their relationship a secret, even to Porky. Although Daffy had his own room, he usually slept with Bugs, no matter how much he teased him.
Today, an average day, Daffy was laying his back on the couch, facing the TV, watching The Price Is Right. Bugs was laying his back sideways on his armchair, dangling his feet off to the left side of it, trying to complete a crossword. Daffy was randomly yelling prices at the screen and repetitively feeling embarrassed everytime, considering he always got them wrong. And, everytime, Bugs would chuckle at his embarrassment making Daffy annoyed. "Hey..." Bugs got his attention. Daffy sat up and rested his hands at the arm by the armchair Bugs was sitting at, his knees sinking deep into the couch cushions. "What?!" Daffy asked, still somewhat annoyed Bugs has been laughing at his embarrassment all day. "Tell me something, come here!" Daffy groaned, not wanting to get up and waddled to the armchair, resting once again on his knees, onto the carpet. "What?" He folding his arms and rested them beside Bugs. "What was your favorite short working with me~?"
Daffy scowled with red cheeks,"This is what you wanted to ask me?! None,of 'em!"He turnt his head away from him in a snarky way. Bugs sat up a lil bit, putting his crossword to the side and then proceeded to teasingly trickle his fingers on Daffy's shoulder,"Come on, now~"
"I mean it! You're not the one who has to be on my end! Always getting blasted!"
Bugs quirked his eyebrow,"what about the one in the snow where you basically confessed how much you loved me~?"he blinked his eyes femininely. Daffy blushed,"Yeah, and i got attacked by a bear right after-!" Bugs started to chuckle. Daffy was now even more annoyed and embarrassed,"Oh yeah- Mr.Hollywood- when was your favorite short?" Bugs gave a few "mmm"'s while he thought, before flirtatiously saying,"All of them." He smiled deviously. Daffy started stammering on his words frustrated,"Ohhhhh....-! You're despicable!!! There's no way you actually feel that way!" Bugs smiled,"Its true~ because i got to spend them acting with you~" Daffy, embarrassed to the brim, started to rub his head into the white fluff of his boyfriend's tummy. It was then he felt a force underneath his arms pulling him forward, he looked down and noticed Bugs had picked him up and sat him down on his stomach. He started to teasingly hit his chest in embarrassment. "So...? Really, not gonna tell me?" Daffy looked at his eyes impatiently, latching his fingers onto some of his fur. "Fine... It was our first short together, HAPPY?"
"Wait, wait, wait,... No! Explain!", the rabbit smiled.
Daffy sighed,"The first day we met, the day before we started filming together and met through Porky... When i saw you... I thought you were nice....and..." He looked to see Bugs' gloating smile,"stupid! Really, really, stupid! And..... Obnoxious...!" Bugs smile swept away, that was until he realized something,"And, you liked me, like that? Well... Maybe i should act like that more often."
"Nononononononononono-"
Bugs sat up more, Daffy slid back some, now resting his back on Bugs' thighs. He placed his hands around Daffy's waist, and smiled that same devilish smile, making Daffy flustered. He gave Daffy a small kiss, and Daffy just rested his hands to Bugs' fur on his stomach,"You're so despicable-!"
He grinned,"Oh, yeah? Well, what about this-" he began to tickle his sides, making the duck fall backwards even more.  Bugs sat up to sit on his knees, with his duck laying on his back, and defending his stomach with his legs, he started to tickle him more vigorously. "And, this and that and this!"
He had pinned him down and Daffy was struggling, he only had one chance to escape-
In the mess of it all-
He gave him a soft kiss-
It threw Bugs off and gave Daffy some time to stand up, scoffing about how he'd won that battle. Bugs quirked his eyebrow and thought to himself,"Id be angry at him for cheating but... It was really cute so i can't complain."
Ring, ring, ring.
Daffy walked his boastful way to the landline, and picked up the phone, making Bugs frown and then fall back into a smile, and continue filling out his crossword puzzle.
"Yesss-thhhh?", he answered the phone, filled with his lisp.
"Hello! Is this ...."Bugs Bunny" and "Daffy Duck"?"
"Speaking!"
Bugs looked up to face Daffy,"Who is it?" He whispered.
Daffy shrugged.
"Hi! This is assistant to casting director, Mary Gail Artz, we tried to contact your agents but... Nobody answered, so we decided to call you both directly."
"Ugh... What's this about?"
"Well, we wanted to inform you about a project we're planning to hire you for! Its still in the workshop however, but we still need a partial yes to see through with it. Would you be willing to set a meeting with us to look over some contracts regarding this?"
Daffy flailed his arms about to motion Bugs to get up and come to the phone. He got up quickly in that comical way.
"Who is it??!" He asked softly. "Its casting! They wanna hire us for another project! Dif- people tho."
"Say yes!!"
"Shhhhhhshhh! They wanna know when we're available?"
"Ask em when we can come!"
Daffy took his attention back to the phone,"Uh... When would you be available?"
"Well, we still have to finish up some contracts here and there, and we will have to talk to the big man himself, Joe Dante... So, lets see here.... How about April 16th, at .... 10:00 AM ?"
Bugs nudged Daffy happily, he knew that was a day before his birthday. "Say yes!"
"Alright! That sounds good!"
"Great! We'll leave you a message after this call so you can write down all the details!"
"That's it?"
"That's it! You're all set! Thank you for answering! Bye!"
Daffy placed the phone back into its place on the wall. He turned to Bugs, a giant smile gradually growing on his face. They both started jumping up and down, holding on to each other. They let out loud yelps of happiness and then pulled each other into a kiss, and then pressing each other into a hug.
