Chapter Four:

(WIN)

"Why are you staring at me like that?"

Bright asked as soon as our eyes met. It's only been two days since he got sick but now he's already here. I thought he's not going to attend the meeting but he's here. Today is friday we just had a half day class since we got our last exam before our summer break. As part of the student council we will be the one that will handle the event for tomorrow. A closing event before our break. Even though the preparation had been planned earlier it still need final retouch for tomorrow. And as much as I want Bright being around I can't helped but to feel worried about him. He just got sick few days ago. He still need to rest.

"Well whatever, you're always staring at me so nothing new"

He said as he smirked. I swear my heart skipped a beat at that, not because how good he looked on that smirk but because I found out that he's aware that I've been staring at him. My gosh! Win keep it down a bit!

"You wish. It's just that I found your scar a little weird that's all"

I said.

"Really? But everyone says it's attractive"

He said as a small pout appeared on his lips. Hold up. What in the h*ck he's been acting weird lately?

"Well not for me. Anyways, what are you even doing here? Didn't Nana told you that you have to rest a bit more. Taking the exam earlier is already stressful"

I asked as I started to unpack the boxes of water bottles on the table.

"I'm the President. I have to be here"

He said not looking at me. When I tailed where his attention at. I found out that he's watching Nami from a far.

Oh.

As if Nami sense that she's being watched she turn to our direction and a wide smile appeared on her lips. She quickly ran to us and in a matter of second she's already in front of Bright.

"Hey you came!"

Wait what? She told him to come even though she knows that Bright just got sick?

"Yeah"

Bright said. He looked at me and pointed on one of the bottles. As if he's telling me that he wants one so I gave him. He opened it and drank from it.

"I'm sorry for disturbing you but we really need you here. You don't have to do that much but we still need you to finalize things. I'm having a hard time on my own actually"

Nami said as she pouted.

Duhh. What is the purpose of having a VICE President then? Okay, I'm being feisty here I know but it's about Bright!

"It's fine besides I don't have anything to do at home anyway. So where should we start?"

Bright asked. Then Nami started to explain things that is written on her notes. Even though I'm the Secretary, Nami was more skilled to take down notes about things so Bright trust her for that and I'm just a props on the side. And since Nami seems like want to do it all on her own then it's just fine by me. Who wants a lot of burden on their shoulders anyway?

"Okay then let's go"

Bright said but he gave me his bottle. I looked at him confusedly.

"It's hot nowadays. Don't forget to drink water"

He said and was about to go.

"Well, I could just take one here you know"

I said rolling my eyes.

"That's for the event tomorrow. Don't be picky, I barely drink from it. Besides, it would be such a waste if I just throw it away so just take it"

That's all he said before he disappeared on my sight. I was left there dumbfounded and a half undone drink on my hand.

We're almost done preparing things so I decided to take a break. I sat on the corner and drank my water. Yeah the one from Bright. And speaking of him, I watched him from a far talking to some students but then he was left with Nami. Suddenly I felt a burning sensation on my throat so I stopped drinking. I must admit that they really do look good together. They are a perfect match.

"Win?"

Suddenly someone called my name and that teared me apart from watching the two.

"Yes what is it Julie?"

"Can you help me to put this over there?"

She said pointing on the boxes on the floor. I stood up and took them. I can only lift three of them because they are heavy but so she smiled at me and took the last one. She lead the way but I still couldn't take my eyes off from Bright and Nami. That's when I saw a student that had been putting decorations on the ceiling of the stage tripped making him fall. I realized that he's going to fall on Nami that had been standing down the stairs. I watched the whole scene with eyes open wide as if everything are on slow motion that's when I saw Bright pulled her  and switched their position. It made my breath hitch.

"Bri----"

But before I could even call his name I heard someone called my name.

"Win!!!!!!"

That's when I felt my body fall. The boxes that I've been carrying around were all over the place and some of them crashed me. I didn't know what happened. No, I'm not even interested to know what happened.

Specially my eyes still focused on Bright that had been holding Nami on his arms. I took a little glimpse of the scene before the students surrounded them.

And all I could only feel is pain.

Doesn't know if it is because of my own accident or it is because on what I saw....

A/N: Sorry for the short update. It's just that I'm multi tasking while writing this and I just want to publish something today at least one of my book for you guys hehe. Anyways, I'm so happy to know that this book reached 1k reads with only few chapters on it!!!!
