《Chi's POV 》

I walked around the school boredly. Today the boys in our class were outside having gym class while the girls just....couldn't go outside... I guess. I wasn't really paying attention. I suddenly start to hear a bunch of 'oohs~' and 'oh wows~' and see a bunch of people, mostly male and female standing around a blue haired girl with a bright shiny aura. She was smiling and laughing but with just that I could already tell her type.

In order to even get by I had to walk directly through the crowd of people, since she was in the middle. I sigh and walk through the middle of the group. The girl looked at me and titled her head with a closed eye smile and I simply walked past her, not even sparing a glance.

The commotion around us got quiet as I walked past the group

"Whos she?"

"I think she's new?"

"She resisted Teruhashi, how?"

"Does she know who she is?"

"She must be a goddess."

Suddenly my path is blocked by the girl known as Teruhashi. "Hi there you must be new here. Im Kokomi Teruhashi, its nice to meet you!" A crowd had started to form around us which made me wanna crawl into a shell and die.

I stated to sweat and nodded before trying to go around her but she just got infront of me again. "Wellll whats your name?"

"Chi Akambe?"

"Well its nice to meet you Chi" She grabbed both of my hands in hers as she smiled even brighter. "I hope we can be friends!" The entire crowd seemed to coo and swoon at what she said. I took my hands away from hers

"No thanks, I dont wanna be friends with someone like you." Every sound that was resounding in the hallway seemed to stop as I uttered those words and it looked as though her entire world cracked at the realization.

"W-what do y-"

"Teruhashi I think you dropped your pen." I said and started to walk away as the crowd started to bombard and trample her as they tried to find it. I was being completely honest though. I don't wanna be her friend, ever.

Somewhere else 3rd POV

At this moment Saiki was standing on the dodgeball field with his back facing everyone and a hand over his mouth n stomach as he tried his best not to bust out laughing, but it was so hard.

'Chi is comedy gold'

"You think he's ok?" An on looker said as they looked at Saiki shake.

"Maybe he's sick."

《Chi's POV 》

It was a little later in the day and everyone was back in class except this time I was sitting beside Saiki. Me and him just kinda clicked the other day when Kaido introduced us. Almost as if we have a silent understanding.

Flashback to a few days ago

After Kaido had gotten his praise from our other classmates he dragged me by my wrist over to the pinkhaired boy I saw before.

"Saiki, I'd like to introduce to Chi Akambe, the new student and my new friend. Chi this is Kusou Saiki, my already friend." I hummed and said "nice to meet you" he glanced up at me and nodded. 'So he's not really the talkative type. We'll get along fine'

I felt a gaze and looked to see Saiki staring at me. I stared right back at him so we were having a staring contest.

《Chi's POV 》

And since then we've been pretty cool. We usually sit together in silence but its a comfortable silence you know...most of the time.

I turned my head to see a girl staring at Saiki dreamy eyed with a blush. I smirked before nudging Saiki a little with my elbow "Looks like someone has a crush on yoouu~" I cooed and looked at him only to see a weird look on his face, like his eyes were wide with duck lips??

"You want me to try to get you two together?" I wiggled my eyebrows only for Saiki to stare at me with an irritated face and hold his arms up in a x position.

Throught the week the girl whos name I've come to know as Chiyo Yumehara continuously tried to pull cliche stunts to try and talk to Saiki. I thought it was adorable while Saiki just found it annoying.

We were both walking to class when Saiki suddenly tensed up which meant Chiyo was more than likely near. I sigh and gently push him into a broom closet. "Just wait here for a second ok?" And shut the door. Chiyo then turned the corner looking dejected but perked up once she saw me.

"Hey, you're Chi Akambe right? Have you seen Saiki around? I haven't seen him all day."

"Sorry, he's not feeling well so he won't be here till later." Her shoulders drooped as she nodded and started to walk away. "Yumehara maybe this is a sign. There are so many guys out there and yet this one is never around. Don't waste your time on a guy who's not there."

She looked at me with a blush before nodding and walking away. I waited until I couldn't hear her anymore before opening the closet. Saiki was just standing there with his usual expression. He took a few steps out before bowing 90 degrees infront of me.

"Y-you don't have to do that, but you could give me a hu-" I went to hug him but he just dodged and glared at me or atleast I think he was
