Y/N Y/L/N's POV:

I swear I hate being a girl sometimes.

And do you know what I hate the most.

Periods.

The agonising cramps and the mood swings and don't get me started on the cravings. My hormones are literally everywhere and I don't like it.

And guess what?

I'm on my period now.

I woke up this morning by myself since Bucky probably went on an errand with Steve and I realised I was bleeding.

I had to change the bed sheets and everything.

And I had to ask Nat for some pads until I go out and buy some.

Yes I wear pads. I don't know about you lot but I'm not having a tampon in me for it to get stuck are you crazy?

Anyways i got dressed in one of Bucky's hoodies and leggings and normally I dress properly but today is not the day.

And do you know what I hate most about my period? It lasts a whole damn week. Yes 7 days.

Some people's period lasts no more than 4 days but god had to bless me with 7 days.

When I had a shower and changed the bed sheets I layed on my stomach and played on my phone until Bucky comes back.

I want cuddles.

But then I started to get bad cramps.

Like really bad cramps.

Normally on the 1st day I don't get cramps and I don't bleed a lot but the cramps I'm feeling right now hurt so bad.

I can't even move.

I just about pulled the duvet over me and curled up in a ball under the covers, digging my face in the pillow.

"Doll." I heard Bucky say as he entered our shared room.

All he got was a groan in response.

"Are you okay?" He asked.

"No." I groaned.

"What's wrong?" He questioned coming and sitting beside me.

"My stomach hurts really bad." I whimpered.

"Why?" He asked.

Okay I get he's over 100 years old but damn I know he's not that dumb.

"Im on my period Buck." I snapped at him.

"Oh, sorry baby." He laid down and pulled my body over his chest so my legs are over his and my arms are wrapped around his upper body.

"Do you want food or do you just wanna cuddle?" He asked softly rubbing my abdomen.

"I'll have food later I just want you." I muttered snuggling closer to him.

And that guys is how you can be happy while on your period.

Get yourself a semi-stable, metal armed, ex assassin of a man.

But not mine though...
