"minho hyung is really out there living his best life, isn't he?" felix muttered, chuckling as he watch his big brother singing his heart out as if his rent is due tomorrow. at this point, almost the whole village could hear him sing.

"for someone who just turned 23, he sure still has a lot of energy." seungmin added, the end of his lips curved into a smile. felix laughed at the younger's witty statement as he pushed his shoulder playfully.

"you're saying as if he's as old as chan hyung." the freckled boy snickered once his boyfriend turned his head to face him, an offended expression on his face. "excuse me, are you calling your own boyfriend old?" chan exclaimed, as he jokingly rest his hand on his own chest.

felix giggled as he wrapped his arms around chan, swaying them side to side. "i was just joking, i'm sorry." he repeated. the two continued to cuddle with each other and seungmin just watched in envy.

even if it doesn't seem like it, seungmin also wants someone to cuddle with.

"yah, how's my singing? told you i'm a pro." without any warning, minho popped out of nowhere and took a seat beside jeongin who ended up choking on his water because he was startled.

"well i have no other comment other than that you probably woke the whole neighborhood up with that singing of yours. even the sound of the waves can't beat your voice." hyunjin responded, earning a slap on his back by the older.

"okay guys it's getting late, we should gather up to take a picture. minho should stand in the middle." chan ordered, drawing all attentions to him. they all started getting into position when they realized that there's no one to take the picture for them, especially when it's way past midnight.

"it's okay, i can take the picture." and just like that, seungmin volunteered. "wait what? that's not possible, you have to be in the picture!" jisung stated with his loud voice, making almost everyone stop talking.

"ah no it's fine, really. i don't mind not being in the picture. it's not like he wants to take a picture with me..." seungmin whispered the last sentence, wishing no one heard him. it took a lot of convincing but they all eventually agreed.

the night ended with everyone splitting up as they all head back to their homes, seungmin being one of them. on his way there, he shared the pictures he took with the group chat and continued to scroll through instagram.

he saw how the others have already posted a few photos with them and minho, wishing him a happy birthday. he smiled as he liked all the posts, but he can't deny that he was a bit sad that he couldn't take a proper picture with the birthday boy.

no matter how much they spend their time together, seungmin never took a photo with minho alone and the thought of that made him sad. but he doubt the older wants a picture with him, they have a love-hate relationship anyways.

despite not being in the picture, seungmin still posted their group photo with the caption 'you will never take a picture with me anyways but still, happy birthday.' and even posted a short video clip of minho doing aegyo he took last year.
