For lunch, master made salads for us. I offered to do it but he kindly refused and said that I would be making meals a lot anyways soon.

As the day goes by I have been feeling more submissive. I don't know why but I just have.

It's now 3 pm and I'm just sitting on the couch watching TV and master is on his phone next to me.

- Lexie?- He calls me locking his phone and looks at me.

- Yes, master?- I give him my full attention. I wasn't watching any show in specific anyways.

- I don't know if you even thought about this since you just moved in with a stranger.- He smiles softly at me and I smile back.- But I have a job. Obviously.- He says looking around with an "how do you think I have this place" look.

Oh right, of course! Why didn't I even think about it?

- And what's your job, sir?- I ask him curiously. I want to get know him as much as I can.

- I am the CEO of a company, Raines Corporation.

Hmm, CEO. That makes sense. I think as I look around too.

- Buuuut... What's your company about?- I ask him.

- Well, I...- He sighs and chuckles.- I'm kinda surprised you haven't heard about me before. I am kinda famous in the business world.- He says a little astonished by my lack of recognition.

- I'm sorry, master-

- No, no, no. Why are you apologizing, it's alright.- He chuckles slightly.- So, my company is a global leader in innovation and technology. What I try to do is to help people, develop technology that will save the planet.

- Oh, that's great master!- I smile widely.

I don't know how famous he is but it's great to know that an influential person like him is known for caring for the planet.

- And you, Lexie? Do you have a job?

I look down and fidget with my hands.

- I was looking for a job. But I don't know if you want me to have one.

- That's right, I don't. If you had I would have asked you to quit.

- Okay...- I say and keep looking down still playing with my fingers.

- You're not much of a talker, are you?- Master asks chuckling.

I blush.

- It's only because I don't know you. Otherwise I would be talking a lot more. Like, a lot.- I say smiling.

- So you're not comfortable with me?

- It's not like that!- I exclaim hurriedly.- You have been very nice too me and I'm thankful to have you as my dom! It's just that I-

He interrupts me amused.

- I'm only teasing, sweetheart.- He laughs.

- Oh.- I blush and look away with a nervous smile.

He grabs my hand and that gets my attention.

- What I wanted to tell you with this is that I will have to go back to work tomorrow.

I don't know why but a wave of disappointment runs through me.

- I have been here with you these two days so you could warm up to me and I know it's still not enough and I wish I could stay with you longer but...- He gives me a sad smile.- I have a company to run.

- I understand master.- I try to disguise my sad tone but fail at it.- What's your schedule, sir?

- I work from 8 am to 5 pm.
