Girl Fight ~ Daniel Seavey

"Yeah let's go." Zach said to his girlfriend, snidely towards me.

"Zach, she tried to kiss Daniel! Doesn't that bother yo-"

"Y/n, we can talk when you've calmed down." Zach patronised me. They were strolling off hand in hand, as Zach led Sadie away from all of us. I took a few steps to get closer, still fuming. Daniel and Jack called my name behind me, trying to stop me making things worse. I grabbed Sadie's arm, separating it from Zach's handhold, pulling her back to face me. Zach spoke firmly.

"Y/n!"

"No, Zach. She's done this and you don't seem to give a shit. So if you're not gonna care, then stay out of it." I stated, riled up even more. Then Sadie spoke for the first time in all this.

"If you don't like it, why don't you stop being such a fucking bitch and leave?!" She got closer in my face and I squared back up to her, causing both Zach and Daniel to make their way to us to pull us from each other.

"Why don't you fuck off, go be a slut with some other guy!" That's when she came at me, pushing me backwards, shouting insults. I regained balance and shoved her back. Then she was raising her hand to hit me, as Zach managed to pull her away. At the same time, Daniel brought his arms across my ribcage, trying to hold me back too. Me and Sadie were getting further apart as our boyfriends grabbed and separated us. Both of us were kicking and shouting at each other, trying to break free. Sadie screamed some things at me and I was shouting back. I could faintly hear Daniel underneath our voices, behind me.

'Y/n...c'mon.'
'Let's just go.'
'Baby, leave it alone...'. Zach was trying to do the same thing with Sadie, but neither of us did what they said. Eventually I did loosen Daniel's grip on me and I lunged forward, getting closer to her. Then Jack rushed to get in between me and her, holding his palms out to hold me back. He was talking too.

'She's not worth it.'
'Y/n, c'mon man...you gotta leave it.' l tried to get past him by pushing through, but he wouldn't budge, also keeping me back by pushing me with his arm round my ribcage. I was leaning over his shoulder, shouting back at Sadie. Then I felt two big arms wrap themselves around me, pulling me further away. Jack followed us as we backed up, blocking my path still. Daniel moved his right arm in front of me and across my chest, bringing his hand round me to reach the front of my shoulder. Securing his grip, he held his other hand in the same place, firmly on top of his right hand. He kept me in place, close to his body, trying to soothe me. He leaned his head down to whisper in my ear.

"Baby, I know you're mad. But you need to stop, okay? C'mon you're better than her. Don't let her drag you down to her level." He whispered calmly and I listened. Gradually, I tried less and less to get to Sadie. Jack maintained his position in front of me, looking me in the eyes as I stopped trying to loosen Daniel's grip. Eventually, Sadie lessened her attempts to break free. We both stood in our boyfriends clutches, calming ourselves. Daniel removed his left hand from my shoulder and brought it down to my hand, interlocking his fingers with mine. I relaxed more as his hand wrapped around my hand. Jack spoke again.

"Are you done now?" He asked, slightly chuckling. I nodded slowly and Jack moved to the side. Daniel kept me in his hold and Zach had let go of Sadie who had stopped trying to fight too. From around 2 metres in front, Zach and Sadie stood looking at us. I heard Daniel's voice, speaking above my head.

"Right, this isn't gonna happen again. You can't do shit like that Sadie. I love y/n and you're dating Zach, who's one of our best friends." C stated. Then Zach spoke up.

"Sadie wouldn't thi-"

"What? And we would lie? C'mon man you're smarter than this. I get it, Sadie's your girlfriend, you want to defend her. But you know us...you've known us a long time and you know we wouldn't lie about this." Daniel calmly explained to Zach. Zach stood for a moment, thinking about the situation and hesitant to speak. His eyes shifted up from staring at the ground, now looking at Sadie.

"Sadie? Is it true?"

"Wha- no! Zach, are you really going to believe them over me?" She manipulated him, giving him an innocent look and using a shocked tone of voice. Zach glanced at me, Daniel and Jack as he was being convinced by Sadie's lies. Daniel calmly responded before Zach said anything else.

"Zach, you know the truth man." Zach nodded his head in response, before turning his head to face Sadie.

"I think you should go." Zach said, receiving a huff from her before she stormed off through the side gate.

"Sorry Zach." I apologised first, as Daniel and Jack prepared their sympathetic apologies too.

"Eh, it's cool. Really, don't worry about it." Zach said before giving me a friendly hug, then giving Daniel and Jack both a hug too.

"Watch yourself Zach. She's vicious." Daniel joked, earning a humble cackle from Zach.

"It wasn't that bad." I brushed off, laughing along with them.

"No, it was. You were that crazy." He chuckled at me. I cackled, seeing the funny side of it now that we'd lightened the mood. I playfully pushed him off me.

"Shut up." I giggled and we laughed together, Jack included as he got up from his chair and joined me and Daniel where we were stood. He joined in the conversation too.

"I ain't never seen you like that. Man, how are we all still breathing?" He joked to Daniel. We laughed and Daniel stepped towards and then around me, while talking to us.

"We nearly weren't, man. We better start hitting the gym even more, she's stronger than you'd think." I smiled as Zach and Jack laughed, agreeing with Daniel. Then Daniel moved behind me, wrapping his arms around me in a hug imitating that he was holding me in place. "But you just gotta restrain her." I chuckled. Daniel then begin playfully attacking me with kisses on my face.
