The Darkness Queen

Chapter 1:~Welcome to Mirkwood~

Thranduil sat at his daughter's bedside, holding her hand as she was sleeping peacefully. It's been three days since she defeated Cirdan and she was brought to Mirkwood. He was happy to have her home where she belongs. But he didn't knew his daughter. How could he be a father to her when he didn't even know her? He knew nothing of her childhood and her early life with Cirdan. Anyway, he would appoint Legolas to protect her. He couldn't bear losing her again.

Suddenly, Legolas entered the room,
"Adar, Lord Elrond wants to speak with you,"
"I cannot leave her,"Thranduil sighed,
"I don't want her to be alone when she wakes up,"
"Don't worry, Adar. I can watch her,"Legolas explained.
"Are you sure?,"Thranduil asked.
Legolas nodded, "I'm sure," And Thranduil stood up,
"Tell me when she wakes up," Thranduil told his son and clapped his shoulder and left the room.

(An hour later)

Legolas smiled as he saw that his sister was starting to wake up.
"Elora?," Legolas asked softly.
"Legolas?...,"Elora whispered.
"Yes, I'm here, muinthel, (sister),"Legolas whispered.
And Elora slowly sat up and placed her hand on the bandage around her stomach.
"Easy, sister,"Legolas told her,
"You're still weak. Elrond said that it would take some time before your strength is restored completely,"
"I'm fine,"Elora reassured her brother.
Legolas smiled,
"The maid left you a dress and jewellery there,"  And he pointed at the chair that stood against the wall,
"The whole middle earth is going to celebrate your return home tonight. It was father's idea," And Elora smiled, "Not so surprising. Where's Emersion?," And Legolas smiled, "He's with adar in the throne room. He's also been waiting for you to wake up. He did save your life again," And Elora smiled and Legolas put his hand on her shoulder, "See you soon,"

Elora stood up and put on the white long dress that was laying on the chair.

Silvery diamond earrings

A silvery necklace with diamonds

And a silvery tiara with diamonds

And a pair of white ballerina shoes.
And she left the infirmary room and into the throne room where Thranduil talked with Elrond.
"Elora,"Thranduil breathed.
And he went over to her and hugged her tightly,
"I'm so glad you're okay,"
"How are you feeling, dear?,"Elrond asked.
"Fine,"Elora replied and smiled.
"It's a miracle to have you home. That's why we'll celebrate your homecoming tonight,"Thranduil smiled.
"It's good to be home,"Elora smiled. And Emersion went over to her, "You alright? You don't hurt anywhere?," And Elora shook her head, "No, thank you," And Emersion smiled.

(Later that night)

Elora entered the great hall, she was wearing the same dress she had wore when she had put on after she had woke up in the infirmary.

She noticed that some elves were staring at her. And she noticed her brother who was sitting at the long table with his friends. And her father was talking with Lord Elrond and she could feel Emersion was watching her and she glanced aside and saw Livia's ambassador standing in a corner.

And the ambassador Anthony went over to Elora, "Your Majesty, the elves must be very happy to have you home. The rightful Queen of The Light Kingdom back in her real father's Kingdom. The Light Kingdom is in Livia's hands but you also endanger them. If you were threatened, do you really think your family would come to your defence?," And Elora looked at him angrily, "I guess that's one of the meanings with family," And Anthony smiled at her, "Do you really think they trust you. Let me give some advice. Pack you and your pretty friends and go back to Cirdan's castle," And Elora looked at him suspiciously, "And exactly how long will it take before Livia tries to assassinate me? I'm not going anywhere," And Anthony smiled at her, "Didn't Cirdan raise a brave elleth? Taken from your real parents as a baby, if I recall. How was the life with Cirdan? We thought it needed a little sizing. Something to make the flavour of intentions clear," And Elora remembered her poisoned friend some years ago and looked at him angrily, "You!...," And suddenly, Emersion showed up beside her, "Elora,"He said as he put his hand on her arm, "You're missing the game. Gimli has had seven cups of wine. The one who can stay alert longest. We must have one ourselves," And Emersion turned to the ambassador, "Anthony. Back at a court," "And very pleased to be here,"Anthony said. And Emersion turned to Elora, "I have another game in mind for you!," And he gave his cup to the ambassador and dragged Elora away from him and away till the others.
And Legolas quickly stood up, "What's going on," And Emersion pressed Elora against the wall. "What are you doing?,"Elora asked. "Don't move, don't push me away, you're shaking,"Emersion explained, "You can't show them you're scared," And Elora swallowed, "He threatened me here in Mirkwood. He wanted me to know that they've tried to poison me before," And Emersion sighed, "He's heard things. Livia must know you've returned home," And Elora swallowed, "Then they're aware... that I don't have your protection here," "You do!,"Emersion insisted, "You do," And Elora swallowed, "They're dozens of people who's fallowing Livia and people all over middle earth," And Emersion looked at her, "I'm at your side. We're going to see so you get back your throne. You're the rightful Queen of The Light Kingdom. Many fallows only Livia because of fear or that they don't have a choice. We'll prove to them that you're strong," And Elora shook her head, "But I'm not," And Emersion smiled, "Well, they'll think it is before they leave," And he backed away from her a bit and held out his hand to her, "Can you do this?," And Elora swallowed, "Absolutely," And she took his hand and went over to her brother and his friends.
