Chapter 3:~The Princess of Mirkwood~ (Part 2)

Elora closed the book she had been reading for an hour. And she sighed and she laid her hands flat on the desk and rested her head on them and groaned in boredom.
She guessed that her brother had it funnier than she did. He was surely having fun with his friends and she was trapped in her own room.

She stood up from her desk and throw herself into her bed.
Why was her father doing this to her? The question made her cry.
Suddenly, there was a knock on the door.
"Who is it,"She asked, tears in her throat.
"Elora? It's Adar (Father) May I come in?,"Thranduil asked.
"Okay...," She simply replied.
And Thranduil unlocked the door to her room and entered the room.

He swallowed as he saw his daughter had buried herself into her pillow, crying.

He took a deep breath and went over to her and sat down on the edge of the bed and stroked her back carefully,
"Elora, I did not wish to hurt you. I just want to protect you. I can't, I won't risk losing you again,"
And Elora looked up at her father,
"I can't bear being locked up again. It's just reminds me of the time I was Cirdan's prisoner. He always used to lock me up when I had disappointed him or defied him,"
"Oh, my sweet child. I did not wish to wake these fears of that,"Thranduil explained,
"I love you and Legolas so much even though it does not always look like that,"
"Do you really mean that?,"Elora asked.
Thranduil smiled,"Of course I do,"
And he pulled his daughter into his arms and hugged her tightly and Elora cried into her father's shoulder.
"It's alright, my child. You've done nothing wrong. I just want to protect you,"
Elora nodded, "I know,"
And Thranduil smiled,"Are you going to be at the feast tonight?,"
Elora nodded, "Yes," And Thranduil kissed his daughter's forehead,
"Get some rest," And he left the room.

Elora sighed when her father had closed the door behind him and Elora wiped away a few tears and suddenly, Emersion entered her room, "You okey? I heard what happened," And Elora went over to her adoptive uncle, "Emersion, I met Ilitri out in the woods. He said that Livia is planning to get rid of me," And Emersion sighed, "We need to be careful. If he said that, then she's desperate. We need to take back your Kingdom as fast as possible," And Elora sighed, "Thank you for protecting me yesterday," And Emersion smiled, "You don't have to thank me. We're family," And he hugged her tightly.
