One would think time would drag being locked up in a cell, yet I was shocked when weeks two rolled around. It could be for the fact they were constantly having me perform tests or that my perception of time was already slipping. So far the only highlight to this whole thing was the Doctor assigned to me was a pretty ok guy. Doctor Steven Paults. He was a geek from his glasses to the nervous way he spoke to any woman. The first day we met he stammered his words so bad they thought they were going to have to assign another Doctor. I found it kinda cute for a grown man to still have nervous school boy habits. The first few days were rough and I'm sure me
Being a bitch didn't help when he called me Scp2439. I pretty much told him I would not answer to a prison number so he better call me
Something else. So now he calls me T for torch at least it's better than numbers.

"Alright T,hold this" Dr. Paults handed me a solid steel cylinder. It was no taller than a stapler if you held
It up right and about as thick as lamppost. I raised an eyebrow as I watched the camera being set up in the corner of the interview room." Soooo whats going on? Are we recording this?

"Mmmhmm, Tthat would bbe correct."

I chuckled,"Words Dr. ,Words" He turned his attention towards me giving a "very funny "look. Once he started the camera he cleared his throat and stepped back.

"This is Dr.Steven Paults on November 2014. I will be conducting a test with scp2439."

I was actually shocked there was not a hit of nervous school boy in his tone. He carried himself in a whole new manner in front of the camera. He walked back over to my side allowing the camera full view of both of us. "Scp2439 ability allows her to reach temperatures that a normal human body could not come close to. Today we will demonstrate on this solid steel cylinder." He walked away back behind the camera giving me a nod to start.

If being put on the spot wasn't bad enough I had to show off my "Ability." I gave out an irritated huff as I stared at the cylinder focusing on my hand. At first nothing then all of a sudden it felt as if I was holding my hand under hot water. The metal began to pour down like candle wax on to my hand then the table. I could hear a audible gasp in front of me but my focus was else where. The smell of the metal hit my nose causing it to crinkle slightly. When half of the cylinder was gone I slowly sat the rest onto the floor shaking liquid metal of my fingers."Can I have a napkin?"

Dr. Paults quickly turned off the camera and grabbed me a towel he had laying on the interview chair. I smiled as I wiped off the rest of the metal noticing how the hot liquid did not affect the material. "So Is this going to help show Im ok to be in the public or a good reason to me locked away for the rest of my life?"

"T, You kno-"

"I get it you can't tell me....it's fine probably better I didn't know." I stood up holding my hands out so he could lock them back into the safety gloves.

He gave me a sympathetic look as the locks were set in place." I ddon't know what Will ha..happen but you're safe here."

I looked into his eyes and smiled." You're such a good guy Doctor..I just wish I could believe that. "

He ran a hand through his sandy blonde hair before giving a half smile in return." Lets get you back to your r-room."

As we were making our way down the hall to the elevator on the end it opened. What stepped out with guards on all side would have any Poe fan girling. I stared at the guards who were holding Metal poles attached to a collar around their neck on each side. I heard Paults mumble"shit" under his breath as he pulled me close against the wall and slightly Behind him. I peeped around him whoever this was already had my interest. As they came closer I could hear a male humming a song it was a church hymn . I knew it from when I was a little girl thats when the hair on my neck raised.

"T, s-stay behind me." Paults pushed me back behinde him again as the other scp was walking past. I was about to make a retort about being a grown woman when I realized the humming had stopped and the feel of eyes were on me.

"Good afternoon Doctor," a british male voice echoed from behind the mask.

"Afternoon Scp-049."

He looked back at me."Good afternoon my lady."

I stared at him for moment my mind trying to process everything going on."Hello.....like the outfit." I'm sure i sounded like a little child I know I received a few strange looks from around me.

The man chuckled,"I'm flattered. Well if you would excuse me I rather not hold these fine gentlemen up any longer." He nodded his head before looking back at Paults." Oh Doctor do make note that this young woman I do not sense the disease in." He began walking again humming his church hymn as they lead him further down the hall.

I looked at Paults, "He seemed polite enough."

He turned to look at me with a dead serious face."Scp 049 may have great manners but I pray you never come across him again."

I nodded starring at Paults I knew it had to be bad for him to act like this. Yet in my head the wheels where spinning I had to know more about this person in the plague Doctor outfit.

And that is chapter 2. I hope you enjoy and have a great weekend:)
