A Dangerous Cure (scp-049 fic)

Chap 11

This is Dr. Steven Paults on the 20th of February 2015 interviewing Scp 2439.

Dr Paults: "How you feeling Today T?"

Scp 2439: " All things considered good I rather be hormonal than bleeding like a gutted animal."

Dr.Paults: *Coughing* "O-Oh erm, Well thats *clearing throat* good to hear."

Scp2439: *Laughing* " Hey you asked, good thing this is just a recording you wouldn't want that face on film."

Dr. Paults: " Now thats out of the way lets get onto why we are here.*Papers shuffling* It says in your file you were attending college the incident. What were you studying?"

Scp2439: "I know it says it in there but for the record, Pharmacy tech." I wanted to be a Doctor when I was a kid.  The only thing I can't handle the operating or sticking a needle in anyone. Thats why I decided  P.T it would be just as rewarding but without the mess."

Dr. Paults: "You were in and out of Hospitals alot as a child correct?"

Scp2439: *Shuffling*   " Yeah, something was wrong with me Doctors said it was some aggressive type of cancer. I don't they even knew what it was Cancer just seemed to be the easiest thing to blame it on. I did all sort of experimental drugs to try and combat it.  One day when I was 9 it just vanished disappeared without a trace."    

Dr. Paults:" Do you believe that all the experimental testing is what caused this anomaly in you?"

Scp2439: " No, I mean it could have but it mat have have just caused it to be dormant. I think whatever I had as a kid was the first signs of this. I certainly didn't want this I didn't even know I had it till  well you know."

Dr. Paults: " Speaking of tha."

Scp 2439: *hand slamming onto table* "No."

Dr. Paults: " I simply  want to-"

Scp2439: "I said No, now change the subject. My statement wasn't an open invite to discuss that again."

Dr. Paults: * Chair moves ,shuffling* Alright then, How are yours and Scp049 meetings going?"

Scp:2439:*Silence* " whats our meetings have to do with this?"

Dr. Paults: "Nothing I am trying to change the subject."

Scp2439:*Shuffling* "There fine, I enjoy our talks about history and science. He's very intelligent and polite enough to have those talks with me."

Dr.Paults : "Do you have any Idea why you two are able to make physical contact without the normal repercussions?

Scp2439: "No clue, All I know is I am disease free and thats ok with me."

Dr.Paults:" In our observations you two have seem to have formed a bond. What does Scp 049 mean to you?"

Scp2439:"* Silence* " Change the subject or call this interview over."

Dr.Paults:" T, all I'm doing is asking a simple question."

Scp3439: "Oh yeah?  A simple question that can be twisted. Me and Docs relationship is like yours and mine. Now the white coats can take it how they want but it's purely friendship."

Dr.Paults:" Ok T, I believe you."

Scp:2439:" You're not the one I'm worried about."

I sat at the cafeteria table trying to enjoy my meal or whatever you could label this mess as. I didn't have anymore inmates try to fight me or give me any problems, in all honesty they avoided me.  I smiled have to complete tables to myself it was actually pretty nice. I pushed my mashed potatoes into a small little wall as my thoughts wondered to Doc. I hadn't seen in a week and a half which was probably for the best me being hormonal and all. Atleast they listened to me allowing me to stay on the shot. I finally nodded  to the guards letting them know I was ready.  One walked over to take my tray away the other  began to lead me out. As we walked out the double doors one brave soul yelled something about fire. The guard kept moving his hand on
My back making sure I kept moving forward.

" What a little punk to wait till I'm leaving. Maybe we should turn around let me give him a piece of my mind."

The guard didn't say anything but I could feel him tense slightly. I chuckled. " Jeeze calm down it's ok I was just kidding.. Something else here I'm sure will teach him a lesson."

As we continued to walk Paults came around the  corner rather quickly as he saw us smiled." H-hey T, H-how was lunch?"

"You know same ol prison food. I could go for a vending  machine hamburger for supper though."

Paults caught the hint and tried not to smile." Y-yes well don't w-we all. Are y-you ready for your m-meeting?"

"Meeting? You mean with Doc?"

He nodded it took ever fiber in my being not to crack a huge smile."Lead the way." 

Once we reached the interview room and my mittens came off I hurried to my normal spot. I could hear through the door  someone humming church hymns a smile spread across my face.  As the door opened I could still hear him humming softly and the clinks of his restraints coming undone. Once the  was shut I turned my head slightly my smile spreading even wider." Hey Doc,  boy you're really happy to see me or they gave you a good dose today. He came into view looking down at me  looking down at me.

"I could say the same for you My Lady, I do not believe I've seen you smile like that."

Touche, I'm happy to be able to see you again my friend."

"As am I My Lady."

I watched as he lifted his hand hesitating  before walking to his side of the table. As he sat down he looked me dead in the eye."I was told you were Ill  and would not be able to have our meetings till you were well. I am glad you have recovered but might I ask what ailed you?"

Oh shit  really Doc, I know you're worried but how am I supposed to explain this to you.

"My Lady."

I shook my head as I felt my cheeks flush."Oh, urm well Doc, It was my time."

"I beg pardon My Lady?"

".....It's a woman thing Doc, just mine comes around every few months thanx to medical science call birth control. They wanted to make sure everything worked before releasing me." I watched as the Doctors eyes widen at the news he was hearing. It was actually pretty comical and if I wasn't embarrassed  out of my mind I would have had a good laugh.

"Ah,.... at least you're well."

"Oh boy Doc, you made this awkward." I said chuckling.

"My dear maybe I find your expressions and how quickly you turn that lovely shade of red fascinating."

My eyes locked onto his expecting that humorous gleam that shined when we bantered back in forth. This time though it was something completely different . I couldn't look away nor did I want to I could feel my heart quicken as thoughts ran through my head. My hormones had to still be off kilter with what I just imagined.

Doc finally looked away chuckling,"Yes, always fascinating."

I smiled hopping he couldn't read thoughts oh please don't be able to. We started talking like normal and the awkwardness completely  vanished.  When our time was up I sighed standing up disappointed that it seemed to fly by so fast.  I walked over to Doc crouching slightly looping my arms around  his shoulders. From the way  we were positioned  our heads leaned into one another my face away from the window I whispered."Thanx for the card Doc, It was beautiful."  My heart was hammering as I let him go. He didn't say anything but I could tell he did.  As I made my way to the door I could feel his eyes locked on me. I turned around and playfully gave him a wink before exiting out the door.

As I watched her leave my mind was a buzz. The way her eyes dilated and flashed with desire as we starred at each other. I was quiet sure she was trying to hide her emotions but like myself she was losing control. The feeling of her body pressed against mine was such a odd yet strangely euphoric feeling.  The humming in my body had now  increased  as if her touch was fueling it. I was not sure that the cure I was willing to attempt would be sufficient. Yet if I waited any longer I was not entirely sure it would cure Her or Myself at all.  Tonight I will go to her, tonight will be the night the cure will be put to the test.  

A/N Forgive me I typed this chapter last week went back realized it clashed with the rest of the story had to delete more than half and think of something else. I hope this makes up for it 1,469 words which is actually longer than the first version which was like 800 if I remember right. But anyways get ready for the next chapter cause we all know whats about to go down. ;)
