Authors note: hello again, everyone! were finally back with another chapter. i hope you enjoy this one cause ive had writers block for a while now and i finally got an idea for this chapter. bye bye!!
The prince shot up and glanced at the window of the carriage. He wanted to ask "Where?" but he knew the question wasn't worth wondering. All Christian could be sure of was that he was alone with his servant, and neither of them have ever physically fought with anything, nonetheless thought of doing so.
He looked over to William, his eyes practically shivering in distress. The servants calm, open-minded personality had ran off to a far-away land by now, and in its absence was a panicked man who was starved of safety. They didn't know where to go, who to call, what to do, when to run, or how to do anything.
After all of these horrible events they didn't even consider anything else happening, but one more experience could tear their lives to pieces and nobody knew if this was it.
"Stay still.." William whispered, "I'm not sure if the animals living in this forest are very friendly." The prince nodded and searched his mind for that one time when his father had told him all about the forest from his hunting experiences. He gripped onto the memory and replied, "They're... hostile." The servant grunted at this response, trying to act collected over his fearful mindset.
"At least we know that we arent being afraid for nothing." William almost laughed, his humorous nature could shine through during any situation, even ones like this.
This chapter was quite short, quite like one of the others, but i promise to post a longer chapter next time. My brain is tired lol
