A few days before. . .Victor and Melee arrived at the train station an hour after they had lost their friend. Both of them had stayed on the roof with glum faces. "I can't believe it." Victor spoke to himself.
Melee frowned. "There has to be a way for us to find him." She told Victor with a slight spark of hope in her eyes. "Right?"
Victor nodded at her before looking around. "She can't understand me but. . . maybe there can still be some way we can communicate."
The train came to a halt as they arrived at the station. The station was out in the open air and when they arrived, they got down the roof and hopped off the train with their luggage.
They arrived at the pokemon center and got their room. When they arrived, Melee laid down on the large white bed while Victor walked around the room. "This place is pretty fancy. . ."
Melee smiled. "This pokemon center has a lot of pokemon trainers. Ash would've loved to see it." She sat up before smiling sadly. "Speaking of Ash, do you think he would come to Castelia city just to reunite with us. . . or do you think. . ."
"Ash would absolutely come here to join us again!" Victor nearly yelled at her. He calmed down before nodding.
"You're right. I just. . . I'm worried for him. What if he's lost wherever he fell-- what if he is hurt?" Melee panicked. Victor walked over to her and patted her shoulder.
"Calm down." Victor told her. He knew she couldn't understand but she could still read expressions. "We'll search for him in the morning."
"Thank you, Victor. But. . . what do we do now?" She asked him, clearly not understanding what he just said.
Victor thought for a bit before standing back. He put his "hands" together and closed his eyes.
"We. . . should sleep? That's true but what about the morning? We can't just leave for Kalos without Ash. . ."
Victor opened his eyes and pretended to wake up. He put his claw over his head and began looking around the room.
"Oh! We can search for him in the morning?" Melee smiled brightly. She loved to play guessing games.
Victor nodded with a soft smile on his face.
"That's a good idea. We just have to hope he actually comes here and searches for us, right?" Melee sighed. "I mean, what else can we do?"
"Hope." Victor told her. He sighed before looking out to the moon outside. "I wonder what he's doing right now."
(A/N: You know what he's doing right now? He's in that pokemon battle arena a few chapters ago dying inside--)
Present Time (shifting perspectives)
I walked back towards the pokemon center. "What are the chances."
Samson ran out of the center towards me. "Ash! Why did you run away like that? Is something wrong?"
I looked up to him and faked a smile. 'I'm fine.'
Samson could tell that something was in fact wrong but he went along with it for he did not want to get into my personal business.
He also felt a small amount of guilt rise in his chest. He thought that the reason I was sad was because I wasn't free anymore. Of course, that was only half true but the fact that I had lost my friends and might lose them forever was the true cause of my sadness.
As I followed Samson back into the poke center, I looked up at the moon. "I wonder what they are doing right now."
(A/N: So sorry for the short chapter, I just felt like this would be a nice closing point for this part and next time I could write it longer and have things happen y'know? Other than that, Have a good night/day everyone! Peace out!)
