Repeating everyday
Seeing everyone smile.
It's a beautiful thing to always be happy.
But there is something on the other side. Annette walks up to Lapis, both thirteen years of age. Lapis is older by a few months but still lacks what most children her age have. Smarts. She is a fast learner from what she sees rather than what she hears. She sees the eldest, Diane, hold and loving the younger children. She see the youngest, Luo, cry and whimper when he's hungry and bawl his eyes out when he needs to be changed. She sees when Aunt Marie and Aunt Ruby sleep and tend to the younger ones. She sees Marie's stone cold expressions only dead eyes with a smile faker than a plastic flower. Aunt Ruby is full of life and hope. Her eyes are full of life and a beautiful smile on her face. She loves the stories her Aunt Ruby speaks of.
Tales of monster and demons with a hero protecting the helpless citizens. She always thinks on how she wants to be like them. As soon as she is adopted she'll be a police officer or surgeon. Something to help the poor defenseless citizens.
