Starter Prompt: ""Hey, just look at me. Breathe"
Unique feels the weight of his hand on her back. The crowd of people dispersing, the horrendous footballers being yelled at by Coach Beiste. All of that seems to disappear behind her as her terrified brown eyes make contact with his deeply concerned green ones. "In and out, okay?" Unique follows his deep breathing for a few moments, before she feels herself calm down. She expects Joe to ask her if she's okay or needing to go to the nurse. But he doesn't. He just sits with her, holding onto her hand.
Almost as if he knows that quiet is all she needs in these moments as she internally gets her bearings together.
Ready to face the rest of another school day.
