Kaminari finds out what the kid was warning him about. :)

---

Shit.

Those sneaky motherfuckers.

Kaminari got too comfortable, he should've seen this coming.

Ever since the blonde fled he hadn't been confronted by the organization even once. It caused great anxiety, living his life blind to if, though more like when, they were going to strike. Yet he couldn't tell if it was a good or bad thing that unfortunately his "luck" seemed to finally run out.

But at least they had the decency to give him a warning, how kind.

Kaminari eventually stood up from his crouching position where that kid dubitfully duped him and headed off to the arcade. While he walked however, he examined his surroundings. He kept up a calm demeanor as he tried to snuff out any assassins that may be hiding in plain sight. Though it was to no avail, they weren't an elite underground force for nothing. But on his way he spared a fleeting glance at the Child Services Center and scoffed, he wouldn't be needing that anymore.

Kaminari had to admit, using a seemingly innocent and unsuspecting child to deliver an ominous warning was ingenious. Yet he somehow wasn't surprised, Project Beta always had and always will have tricks up their sleeves.

Yet the blonde couldn't resist the smirk creeping up his face because he had to give credit where credit was due, those were some good fucking acting chops on the kid's part. Come on, he cried for like what, 10-20 minutes straight? And it wasn't just a single tear trickling down his tiny face, it was full blown sobbing. (Kaminari hoped the kid would be properly hydrated after.) But like damn, the little guy had a whole class of hero students and an elite assassin wrapped around his teensy-weensy finger.

Also, the fact that the boy could turn his blood lust on and off like a light switch deserved a standing ovation in and of itself. Kaminari himself only mastered that skill when he was 9. If the kid ever got out of that shit hole he should pursue a career in acting.

No wait, not if, but when. Kaminari swore he would save children just like that little boy from the hell they were living in, and he meant it. This experience only served to further harden his resolve.

The kid would go places in the assassin ring, Kaminari, unfortunately, just knew it. Yet it also sucked, being talented in a trade that only brought violence upon the world. Being used for that sole affinity was a road Kaminari was pushed down on. He knew exactly what would become of the boy because he lived through it himself. And what was even worse was that he couldn't do anything to help him, at least not at the moment.

Say he grabbed the kid and took him to the police. What would he do? Kaminari had absolutely no proof to back up any accusations. And he'd sound like an absolute mad lad if he claimed that the boy was an undercover secret assassin that was posing as a lost Korean kid who was actually fluent at Japanese but was sent to threaten his life. It would sound like complete lunacy, honestly.

The only physical evidence would be the organization's tattoos that marked their agents. But the kid was too young to have been branded yet, so that idea was thrown out of the window, as well.

It would also cause unnecessary trouble for the child, because as the world currently stands, one way or another the kid would fall back into the organization's grasp and be punished thoroughly. Kaminari knew the consequences one would face if a mission didn't go as planned and oh boy they were not pretty. He didn't want to bring further suffering to a toddler who was merely doing as he was told.
