Usopp was terrified. "Gosh, why the hell did I even offer this." He gulped loudly and cleared his throat. He started to speak when the swordsman cut him off, quite literally. Zoro had raised one of his swords to Usopp's throat. "One condition. No lying." Usopp watched in terror as Zoro sheathed the sword and then waited for Usopp to begin again.

"R-right. Only the truth." "Damn it. What do I say? I didn't think that far ahead." Usopp shifted awkwardly on the rail. "Well, w-when I was younger, uh, ya see I never really knew my dad, and my mom died pretty quickly into my childhood. So I guess you could say I've been pretty lonely for most of my life huh? Well, I was always sorta pitied by the rest of the town, which is how I got away with most of the stuff I pulled..." Usopp was cut off once again. "I don't want your life story. We're trading secrets remember?"

"R-right." Usopp sat and thought for a long while. His face grew hot and he got all flustered. He turned from Zoro's gaze and snapped his eyes shut. "I-I love Kaya." Usopp slowly opened his eyes to a confused Zoro. "Who?"

Usopp grew flustered again as well as upset. "What do you mean WHO? Kaya, she's the one who gave us this ship?! The one we saved on my home island?!" Zoro seemed to think for a moment. "Oh right, that little blonde girl. Yeah we all knew that." Usopp was so taken aback he almost fell off the railing. "W-what!!!" Zoro shook his head in disappointment. "I'll only tell you anything once you've told me an actual secret. That was the deal. Also Chopper's been watching us this entire time." "EP!" Usopp jumped up from the railing when he noticed the furry animal peering over the edge of the nest.

"S-sorry, I was just worried." His voice was quiet as he attempted to explain himself. Usopp offered his friend his hand and helped him climb into the nest. "Ugh." Zoro was obviously annoyed at how many people were there, even if it was only two. "Fine, I'll come down and eat if it means you all will quit worrying over nothing." Chopper looked content, but Usopp was still suspicious.

They all climbed down from the nest. Sanji and Nami poked fun at the swordsman, but he was too tired to retaliate. As Zoro sulked towards the kitchen, he made a point not to make eye contact with Luffy, who was being his normal chaotic self.

The next couple of days passed by almost the same as they always had. Only this time Usopp and Chopper we're almost always following Zoro around, trying to get him to spill what was wrong. Zoro refused constantly restating that he was fine and that nothing was wrong.

But Usopp and Chopper had a plan...
