Memories

Nobody bothered the red haired man. Nobody spoke to him. In the distance, his best friends stood quietly, watching him worriedly. They knew better than to pull him out of his thoughts, they knew how important today was to him.

It was their anniversary.

"Shuu-chan" Karma began in a soft, childish tone he always knew his Gakushū loved, despite pretending to hate. "I'm sorry if I have been out of touch with you for a long time. Work has been busy and, it takes me away from you"

He got no response from his partner, making him pout. "Don't be mad okay? I'm here now. And right on time too"

He caressed his Gakushū lovingly, gently.

He remembered he had been partnered with Asano for a science experiment. He and the strawberry blonde detested each other, and refused to communicate. Gakushū treated him like he was just the wind and Karma gave him a similar treatment.

Because of this, some chemicals had been doubled, resulting to a very messy explosion.

He and Gakushū got sent to the nurse after receiving tongue lashing from their teacher.

Asano was furious and blamed him, which pissed Karma off.

"My fault?! If you had just talked to me then maybe I would have known not to add the magnesium! Seriously Second-place-kun how can you be so childish?"

"I'm childish?! You bastard!" His and Gakushū's bickering was stopped when the principal entered, Gakushū's father. The strawberry blonde straightened up instantly causing Karma to snicker. Gakushū gave him an evil glare.

"You boys alright?" Gakuho asked.

"Define alright" Karma gestured to his bandaged self, and their torned, dirty uniforms.

"We're fine"Gakushū responded respectfully.

"Well good, because you two will be starting your detention tomorrow. Two months of detention" Gakuho responded simply.

Gakushū's eyes widened in shock and even Karma's mouth hung open. "WHAT?!"

"Who uses chalk anymore?" Karma muttered, dusting the erasers. "I thought we all upgraded to white boards and markers?"

"Just shut up and clean" Gakushū snapped.

For the first three weeks Karma actually attended detention and helped Gakushū. Much to the strawberry blonde's shock, he was so sure he'd be left on his own.

The two, at first, treated each other coldly. Gakushū tried to ignore Karma most of the time and the red head took to tormenting him and his sanity as a great enjoyment.

Eventually Karma stopped tormenting him, and would sometimes tell him about his day or, who he pranked last or sometimes snippets of his childhood

"Mom was such a clean freak, if she sees so much as one stain on the blanket or any of our clothes she'd loose her mind" Karma chuckled. "Whenever she comes home, she'd do a thorough cleaning. And when I say thorough, I mean thorough"
