The wind blows from the sea to the seashore. Bright skies of blue hues and white clouds hanging. Flock of birds fly majestically with pride. The ocean waves are calm and steady while the heat from the sun is warm, not hurting the skin when the sun beam touches. A young girl walks by the shore collecting stones while waiting for someone. Flesea is a girl around fifteen, with bright black round eyes that when stared at, you can feel that it can suck you in and feel like it can see through a person's soul when made eye contact. Innocence and calmness. Wavy long coffee brown hair that is flown away naturally, fair white skin that turns to a tan after being exposed to the sun for almost every day. Petite and wears her favorite floral dress that kisses her knees and sways with the wind. Flesea resides from the furthest city away, of this little town of Gujnamdu. Away from the suburb she stays in Gujnamdu for her summer vacation where she met a guy seven years older than her and made a liking of him for his gentleness and caring attitude plus with his manly physique. The typical tall, dark and handsome. Flesea's morning routine is to walk by the shore and gather heart-shaped stones but in truth, it's just an excuse to catch a glimpse of her Nallad. As Flesea is picking up stones, a grumbling sound of a motor pumpboat can be heard approaching. People gathered towards the arrival of the pumpboat in order to buy fresh fish. And almost everyday the scene is always like this, except if there is a weather forecast of a storm or a typhoon coming. Flessea stood up excitedly and waited meters away avoiding the crowd of people. After the crowd disperses, Flesea slowly walks to Nallad smiling shyly. Nallad is a twenty-two years old guy. Fishing is his family's source of income. Every summer he helps his father fishing every dawn and they finish fishing every early morning. Nallad is a very family oriented person, he knows that in order for his family to thrive out of poverty, he has to finish studying. And so he is now in his third year in college and if God permits, he'll be graduating next year.

Nallad noticed Flesea approaching him and the truth be told. He too likes this girl, but he has priorities set and goals for his family. "You seemed to have a lot of catch today", Flesea said, smiling shyly. "Yes, thank God for our good harvest", Nallad answered smiling. "Picking up stones today?"' he continued. "Yes, my jar is almost full" proudly raising the jar with her left hand. "See this!", talking happily. Nallad noticed her cheeks getting redder. "You must be hot, your face is now red", he said pointing to her face. Flesea flushes and touches her cheeks with both hands. "Don't expose yourself with too much heat. Let's go over there and have a shade", he continued and pointed to the trees behind her. She looks behind to where he's pointing then nods her head. Nallad told his father to go ahead and walk side by side with Flesea towards the trees. "Have you eaten breakfast?", she asked him. "Not yet, I'll eat later at home", he answered and continued "What about you? You're not skipping meals again, are you?" he asked suspiciously. She immediately shakes her head and waves her hand disagreeing. "No no, I've eaten breakfast before coming here", she said truthfully. "That's good then, you have to eat to grow". Flesea just smiled and nodded silently. "Oh right! What are your plans during the fiesta? Do you want to come with me in the plaza? I heard that there will be different rides like a ferris wheel on that day", Nallad stated excitedly. "Ahh yeah... about that", answering sadly. "I'll be going back after next week. My dad wants to see me...and so I'll be leaving with my mom on that day." "Ohh well then, you'll come back here next summer right?"Nallad asked hopefully. "I don't know... I think I heard my mom and dad talking over the phone about studying abroad." Flesea's head has been
staring down all the time afraid of seeing Nallad's reaction to her departure and also aside from being shy. "Oh... okay, take care then", Nallad smiled and pats her head. "Flesea! Your mom's looking for you. Come up now!" hearing the shout from afar, she smiled faintly, embarrassed and said to him, "Nanay Lisa is calling me, I better go now." She said walking hurriedly not waiting for Nallad's response.

Nallad watched Flesea's back until she disappeared from his sights. He was dazed by the news Flesea had told him. Feeling his troubled heart that throbbed uncontrollably with a mixture of sadness and helplessness. He then went to his house still confused as he ate his breakfast.
