Becca's pov

It was 9:15 when I stepped on the campus. I really didn't want to be early 'cause I have literally no friends, so it would be pretty stupid if I was just standing here. I had 5 minutes to search for the right classroom. I chose humanities and social science 'cause I've always found it interesting how the brain works.

I had no idea where I had to be. An old lady passed me.
"Miss, do you know where the literature class is?"
"Straight ahead, to the left, the second door."
"Alright, thank you." I smiled at her.
"You're welcome." She smiled back at me.

I repeated the words in my head, and followed her instructions.

*bling*

I looked at my phone and saw a message from Billie.

*Good luck on your first day! I love you*

*Thanks, love you too*

Okay, I think I was at the right place. I open the door and see a kinda big classroom with a lot of students who were talking to their friends, probably about how nice their summer was. I saw a free chair and went straight there.

I really don't know what to do, I just sit here hoping the teacher will be here soon.

"Good morning people! Welcome to our school! I wish you a very nice day!" A loud voice said through speakers.

Five minutes later an old man came inside the class. Everyone gets to their chair.

"Good morning students! I am-" And before he could speak any further the door swung open.

"I'm so so so so so sorry, mister." A little blond girl said. She was really out of breath.

"It's okay Katie, go sit down."

"Thank you mister."

There was only one seat free, next to me.

"Hi, I'm Katelynn, but you can call me Katie."

"Hi, I'm Rebecca, but you can call me Becca."

She smiled at me and took her book.

"As I was trying to say, I am mister Smith and I'm going to give you guys literature this year."

*triiing*

For 50 minutes, Mister Smith talked about what we all are going to learn this year. Literature isn't my favorite course but I like mister Smith.

"So, Becca, where are you from and why did you choose to come to London?" Katie asked when we stepped out of the class.

"I'm from San Francisco and I wanted to go away from everybody and start a new life." I said honestly.

"Cool, Cool, what field of study are you following?"

"Humanities science, you?"
"History and Philosophy of Science." I have literally no idea what that means but it sounds difficult.

"When is your next lesson?"

"Uh, I have 50 minutes 'till psychologie."

"Come, I'll show you all the places you need to know here." She took my hand and showed me everything I needed to know.

"And here is your locker, it's not for of mine and apart from Thursday we'll see eachother everyday."

"Thank you for showing me everything, I appreciate that." I smiled at her.

She wanted to say something but she was cutted of by someone.
