becca's pov

It's Saturday and I've done nothing. I feel empty and I'm lazy as hell. I didn't even eat this morning. You would think that if you move to a new city you will do everything you can to get to know the city. But nope, I choose to be sitting here on the couch doing nothing.

Right when I want to shower, I hear a knock on my door.

"Becccaaa it's me, Katieee!" She yells so everybody could hear it.

Oh god, I really can't handle her now. I really like her but she is so energetic. She would be great friends with Billie. I open the door and see her standing with a huge smile on her face.

"Hellow, what's your plan for today?" She asks excitedly.

"Well I'm really busy doing nothing."

"Great, 'cause I was really bored so we could do a high school musical marathon." She grabs 3 DVD's out of her bag.

"Sounds great, come in!" I step aside and let her come in, I really love high school musical so I think it is a really good idea. I grab some snacks and drinks. I've never thought I would make a friend that fast, so I'm really thankful for Katie.

It's around 7pm now and we just watched the first movie. (In my opinion the best one)

Something pops into my head. It's Saturday, wasn't it Niall's party? I know Katie hates those boys but I want to know why. Harry is Katie's cousin so maybe there is a family fight or something, but why would she hate the other boys also?

"It's Saturday, right?" I want to figure out what's wrong.

"Yes, why?"

"Shouldn't you be at Niall's party?"

Katies smile fades away and she rolls her eyes.

"No, I told you that I didn't want to go." She says annoyed.

"Why not?"

"Why would I?"

"Why do you hate them so much?" I know that it's none of my business but I'm just curious.

"Do you always need to have a reason to hate someone? I just don't like them."

She has a point.

"Yeah, you're right, I can think of a few people I don't like without a good reason." I look at her but I think she didn't hear me or something 'cause she's staring with a poker face. It looks like she's daydreaming or something.

After 10 seconds of silence she's finally back to real life.

"Okay, are you going to start the movie?" She quickly changes the subject.

We watched the second and third movie and Katie pretended like the conversation about the party didn't happen. It was 11pm and it was already dark outside. We talked a little about school and our lives before we met. The time flew by and before we knew it, it was already 12 o'clock. Katie's house is not far away but I wanna go with her because there are a lot scary men outside. I know I need to go back home by myself, but I'll call Dylan so I'm not alone.

"Thanks for coming with me, are you sure I don't need to call a taxi?"

"It's okay, you don't have to worry." She has asked this like 10 times now.

"I'll see you Monday!" I give her a hug.

"Alright, text me when you're home."

I nod and grab my phone, I call Dylan but he doesn't answer.
