A Life With Tanjiro

🖤The Festival💚 ✨Chapter 2✨

    You perked up and your eyes wandered around, studying the big festival only a couple more minutes away. "Oh my God! We're almost there! I'm so excited!" You cheered. Tanjiro chuckled and added that he was excited too. Tanjiro was the one driving, so you could look around and observe the city leading to the festival.

    You two then pulled into the parking lot and hopped out. You were faced with a huge scene of rides, fountains, gardens, food trucks, and a giant Ferris wheel! You gasped in amazement at how many attractions there were. Tanjiro 's jaw dropped and he was even surprised!

    You both then rushed to the check in to hurry up and pay so you could get to the main event. After finally checking in, you both then discussed what to do first.

    "We should do the Forrest Water Tour first!" You suggested.

    "Well, that one's fine, but look at the Floating Flowers Parade down the Main Street! It looks so pretty and relaxing!" Tanjiro protested.

    "Yeah, but the Forrest Water Tour is relaxing too! There's birds and frogs, and everything!" You argued.

    You two couldn't pick one! They were both so cool! You got aggravated for this argument with each other. In the end, you guys just decided to pick up ice cream to get the flavors you wanted.

    But the ice creams were really tasty! You bought your favorite, (I/C/F), and Tanjiro bought his favorite. It was a simple decision, but a good one at least! Next, after the ice creams were finished, Tanjiro changed his mind and now wanted to go ride the Forrest Water Tour.

    You celebrated and the two of you dashed down to the ride. After a couple minutes of waiting in line, you two settled into the large, wide, wooden log boat. The scenery was beautiful! There were large, lofty trees caving in a bit, letting some sun peak through the leaves.

The boat calmly drifted over the clear, crystal water that shimmered bits and pieces of the sunshine and shadows. It was stunning. You and Tanjiro gazed in awe at the scene in front of you. Sunshine bounced off of Tanjiro's earrings, making them look even prettier. The rays also reflected off of your eyes, making your (E/C) eyes look endlessly gorgeous.

The log boat wasn't too crowded, thankfully. It was a decent handful of quiet people. The loudest noise there had been was some spontaneous whispering and bird tweets. That was it! And even those sounds were delightful in a way. The scenery looked something like this:

You closed your eyes and leaned against Tanjiro's shoulder. You softly grabbed his hand and placed it in yours. Tanjiro blushed and firmly (but kindly) grasped your small hand. His hand was so much bigger than your hand! He made your hands look like a toddler's hands! Tanjiro turned his head to you and kissed your cheek. You happily blushed.

The wind blew, and you didn't notice they had hung wind chimes all around the ride. They were hanging from trees, from nests, and even from outdoor columns they had specifically placed just for the chimes! But when the wind blew, the sentimental chimes that played reminded you of Tanjiro so much.

Tanjiro beamed brightly when he heard these chimes, he loved the sound of them! Tanjiro started to tear up suddenly, you heard his faint weeping and immediately whipped your head towards him,

"Honey! Are you okay? Why are you crying? Are you hurt?" You asked frantically. But then you noticed, he was crying happy tears!

"Oh, it's nothing...it's just, the wind chimes are so beautiful...they remind me of home...I bet Nezuko remembers too!" Tanjiro assured through his faint happy tears.

You weakly smiled, gently placed your hand on Tanjiro's cheek, and then lovingly wiped his tears away, "Honey, I bet your family's happy to hear these chimes too, don't worry, I'm always here for you." You calmly comforted him.

Tanjiro blushed, then sadly smiled. He started to cry even more now! Tears were rolling down his lovely face. He looked so happy that you were there for him!

"Awww, don't cry, Honey! Now you're making me c-cry!" You softly stuttered, between subtle cries.

Tanjiro wrapped his arms around you tightly, pulled you close, and resided there, hugging you. He buried his (now sobbing) face into your shoulder and softly spoke,
"I love you too much..."

You heard this, and went beet red! The way he said it, it was just, different...He sounded so, sincere! It wasn't the usual cheery "I love you" like you were used to. This time, it sounded...sad...almost.

Finally after the ride had finished, you both then decided to ride the WaveRacer! A water themed roller coaster that was supposedly, "intense". You two had your doubts, but proceeded to ride it...long story short, you and Tanjiro...puked...
