The cold atmosphere immediately compressed the whole of me as I get myself off the house, thereby seeing Lia from afar waving her hands at me. I cough a little and looked away. Does she already get a sleep?
"Hey." I called her but she only pulled my wrist in rush to drag me somewhere. "Hey, hey, hey!"
"We'll miss it if you'll act too sleepy in there."
"Who won't I? You just totally disturbed me." I rolled my eyes.
Lia did not reply. She just let me go as we already near the beach side with the water reaching our feet.
"Just more minutes..." I heard her whispering while both eyes are shimmering to occupy the halfway sky and see infront of us to wait for the sun to rise it self.
I yawned.
"Look, Ced. Mamaya nariyan na 'yon."
I pressed my lips.
"I think it's cloudy." I looked at her.
"I think it not." she emphasizes, looking at me. I just ended up rolling my eyes. This woman. "See! It's rising na!"
I looked at the same direction Lia's looking at. The sun is finally rising, reflecting it's rays on the ocean.
Nice.
"It's mesmerizing,"
"I know." Lia replied, smiling hugely.
I suddenly stared at her. I could see the reflection of the sun in her eyes with her smile reaching it. I didn't noticed earlier her messy bud and clothes, could really have alarmed herself for the right time for this moment.
She loves sun.
"You brought your phone with you?" she asks, not looking at me.
I faced the sunrise and shrugged. "Nah."
"Oh, I see." she slowly nodded. "Ganda sana."
"It'll fade away sooner," I uttered.
"But it's still nice. We should always appreciated the great sides of enything."
I pursed my lips. "Then, do you want me to go and get my phone?" I suddenly raised my brows to her.
Lia looked at me and chuckled.
"Nah, don't worry. It's already fading." she pulls her eyes back to the sun.
"But it's still nice,"
"Yeah. But we should be substantial, the sun could already be gone as you came back."
I nodded. Gulo niya.
We both decided to sit in the cut-tree-wood near from us. Lia seems to get tired from standing.
"Let's go back?" I asked Lia as the sun finally reached is fully rise. Lia is now leaning his head down to my shoulder, not moving.
"Hey." I tried to move her but she ended up falling to me that's why I immediately held her upper.
"Damn this woman..." I snuffed and gasped. "Have a guts to sleep after disturbing my sleep for this?" I looked away with a huge hint of disbelief in my eyes.
I started poking her cheeks. I won't ever carry a sleeping woman, not now, not in my entire life.
"Wake up." I tried to shake her continuously but this woman won't even give me a little hint of disturbance. "Are you being serious right now?" I fell out.
Damn. Do I have any other choice?
I gone back to my room with a huge back pain. There's no way that I will carry Lia in bride style that's way I spent my strength to carry her on piggy ride. I am in the urge of thinking how were she able to weight that way in spite of her being so tiny?
