Todoroki basically escaped her room to be a flustered mess in his own but he appreciated the time frame to allow him to think.

From anyone else's perspective this could have been an awkward situation but for them it wasn't, they knew each other and they were ever so patient and understanding that it wasn't awkward when she told him whilst crying how she had wet the bed that last night when they were toddlers, or when he got his first erection at the beginning of his puberty and had no one to ask about this except for her or the panic in her face with her first menstrual period without understanding why there was so much blood but he went to the pharmacy with her to get the lady at the counter to explain it to her and give her some pads. They had already shared highly embarrassing situations together and it only made their bond much stronger.

Next day she found a note on the fridge that read:

I will be working all day, I'll be back at night but please don't go out by yourself. There's food in the fridge but if you want to order something, call any of the delivery numbers I left on the table and pay with the cash I left for you. I'm sorry I couldn't share breakfast with you but I didn't want to wake you up.

With a little content grin on her face, she kept the note in her pocket.

Now she had enough time by herself to figure this situation out. If they were going to cuddle and something else were to happen... She needed to make sure she understood how to do things in order to... Teach him.

She has never been with anyone before, how could she ? When she couldn't stop thinking about Shouto. She was lacking experience and for a moment she pondered if he was in the same situation as her or... It was hard to think about him getting so intimate with anyone given his personality.

It's bad to assume but it's best to think he didn't know a single thing than expecting him to know something.
