Elijah woke up feeling as if millions of snakes were all over my body strangling him . He opened his eyes, which nearly took all the strength out of him. The stake was not removed. There were two tanks full pumping into his system , vervain, with every breath he took. He let out small groans. His bites were growing worse. His hands were bound by heavy handcuffs with needles cutting through his hands draining him of blood. His neck was too, bound, with the same kind of skin piercing weapon. He felt the drops of the blood running down his chest. "Hayley? " He groaned with all the strength he had. The last thing he saw was her neck getting snapped.. What had happened to her? Was she..? No. He wouldn't be able to forgive himself if that had happened . He let Hayley come. He'd die of guilt. He yanked the cuffs with all his might.. If you can call it might . As expected it didn't work. His head fell forward making the needles go deeper and causing him to let out screams. But he couldn't lift his head up.. He was too weak.

He had never felt so powerless . The wolf bites, the stake, the vervain, the blood leaving his system made it feel like the world was coming to an end. But he not for once thought about himself, all he could think about was Hayley. Where was she? . He shuffled his legs. Seeing this ,a figure standing before him bound both of his legs with a single needle containing weapon , he couldn't bear it anymore, he felt as if his body was breaking down in pieces, he let out screams in pain, the enemy before him chuckled, he tried his best but he couldn't keep his eyes open, he drifted away. Later, as he again opened his eyes, partially, he saw lucien castle. His foe. Standing before him, smirking at his plight. He averted his face. He saw an unconscious Jackson laying next to him. They were both inside distinct circles, a witch's work, he presumed. "Where's Hayley?!" He said weakly, yet in a threatening tone . "Bring her in " said the cruel upgraded vampire, still smirking. Two witches dragged her. She was on her feet, yet seemed weak. " If you hurt her! " Elijah screamed, his blood boiling.. He didn't understand how he could suddenly give out such a shout. Hayley looked at him tears flooded her eyes as she saw him in that state . So helpless. Hayley was made to sit on a chair her hands tied with wolfsbane laced ropes .Hayley groaned causing Elijah to stir in his frail state " Stop ! " Elijah desperately pleaded " Stop.. Please-" . "Haha! The arrogant bastard says please? Oh where were your manners earlier? Lucien grabbed him by his hair which was now soaked in sweat and pulled it as hard as he could, the needles went deeper in, in the back of his neck. Elijah couldn't even scream as blood came out of his mouth as lucien yanked his head forth with a cold and sudden jerk. " Let Hayley go.. I beg-.." He inhaled painfully " I BEG YOU " Elijah said. Hayley was shocked. Never in her wildest dreams did she ever imagine him, begging for mercy.. He did that.. For her. " Kill me for all I care, don't lay a finger on her " He said as he felt the blood flowing out of his system. He wasn't really afraid to die. He was afraid about to what he'd do to Hayley ... He killed cami because of his petty revenge from niklaus. What if he would do the same with him. He couldn't let that happen. "Mr. Elijah Mikaelson, look what's left of you. You are NOTHING compared to me. Why do I think I'll not hurt Hayley if you plead-" " -Please I beg you" "Hmm .. That doesn't seem like begging." Lucien took off the cuffs from the hands, legs and neck, causing so much pain that Elijah momentarily forgot where he was, who he was and what he was doing . He collapsed . He only knew he had to save Hayley. " Beg ! Kneel ! Then...maybe I'd release your poor hayley " . Slowly, painfully , he got on his weak shaking legs .. He then kneeled in front of him pleaded with his head bowed down " Please let Hayley go .. I'm- I'm begging you" His voice faultered and it was evident that speaking even one word took a lot out of him. " That's my boy! .. But no..I'm not gonna let Hayley go- " Hearing this Elijah's helpless face struck up to look at Lucien's merciless one " You said -" " Oh relax! " Lucien said as he kicked Elijah and put his foot on his neck ,on the bite ,causing him to let out a painful scream "AAGH!" "I am here to kill only one of you . I thought of you as my target but.. Let's make this game more fun"
