Prologue
From a young age, Aelia Abernathy always knew that she was different. It was clear from the moment that she first witnessed the horrors of the demigod world. It was clear from how the sun shined upon her whenever she was in its sight. However, she was not expecting her life to be flipped upside down from the moment she saw those sea-green eyes. Those sea-green eyes changed her life; some would say for the better however some would argue that her future was doomed from the moment she met his gaze.
