Chapter 2
Sam's POV

"Eva. Eva. Jacobs..." I trailed off repeating the name. It sounded vaguely familiar but I just couldn't pin point it. "Remember Sammy? Evelyn Jacobs? Eva? You loved her when we were younger?" Dean wiggled his eyebrows as I rolled my eyes. "We were best friends Dean. Plus we were like 6 and 8 or something." I gave Dean a look.

"Well she got hot as hell." Dean gave a low whistle as I rolled my eyes. "Should we follow her?" I asked quietly, just in case Eva was still here. "What do you think I'll say?" Dean asked with a pointed look at me. I nodded and headed out to the Impala.

After 5 minutes of listening to ACDC on blast, Dean finally turned it down and looked at me. "You could hunt with Eva." He quietly suggested glancing at me one last time before looking at the road. "Dean, I'm going to safe you. You aren't gonna die!" I yelled clearly upset. Dean was being stubborn, refusing to think he could have a chance to live.

"Sam I told you, if I try to weasel out if this, it'll be to the frying pan for both of us." Dean said calmly as he kept his eyes forward. An awkward silence filled the car until Dean coughed. "Where do you think Eva is?" He asked curiously.

"Well she quit hunting, what 3 years ago? Well thats what Dad mentioned before he died," Dean went rigid. "I think she went back to her home." I said with a matter-of-fact tone. Dean slowly nodded as I began to give him directions to her apartment. She gave me the address in case we ever needed her.

A short amount of time later we arrived at the large dark grey house that had black shutters. "Well Sammy boy," Dean clapped the back of my shoulder a little too roughly. "What the hell do we do now?" Dean asked with a raised eyebrow. I hadn't gotten there yet. I ignored Dean and his remarks, so I got out and made my way to the front door.

I knocked on the large, black door. It creaked open and revealed a tired yet beautiful looking Eva. "Hey Lyn." I said softly as her eyes widened. She squealed and leapt into my arms. "I didn't think you remembered." Eva whispered into my ear, her warm breath tickling my neck.

I let Eva down as she looked behind me finding a bored looking Dean. "Hey Deanie-poo." She teased as he ran over and hugged her. "God Ev, when the hell did you grow up?" Dean asked in a joking matter. She smiled widely and leapt down. I felt a twinge of jealousy as Dean had hugged her.

There we all sat in Eva's large living room. Eva sitting at her bay window, Dean in the reclining chair and I on the couch. "How've been Eva?" I asked taking in her appearance.

Her black hair fell in light natural curls around her face. Her hazel eyes were wide and bright, searching the room. She was was the perfect height and skinny but still curvy. Eva was perfect.

Eva turned and faced me and Dean after looking out the window. "The usual, I went to school to become a general surgeon. I was engaged but..." I couldn't hear anything else she said. She was engaged?! "What did one of you cut it off?" I asked. "Yeah, I just said that. He did and I was so heart broken." Eva's eyes began to tear up, but a stern look quickly grew on her face.

"This was 6 months ago." She mumbled lowly. Who would do that to her?! "Anyways, how are you guys?" Eva looked between Dean and I.

"Our dad died. And we don't know where your father or brother are, they disappeared after you left." Dean said with a gentle yet strong assertive voice, he obviously didn't want questions about dad.

Eva's face crumbled like a brick wall.

===========
Evelyn's POV

Let me start from the beginning.

I'm Evelyn Jacobs, Dean and Sam call me Eva or Lyn. I'm a retired hunter of 3 years, a medical student and broken hearted girl.

I retired 3 years ago because of my family. My father treated both me and my brother, Alec, like crap. John Winchester became more of a dad to us then anyone, oh and let's not forget Bobby Singer. John Winchester wasn't exactly a GREAT father to his two sons Dean and Sam but he tried.

Dean and Sam, right. Dean Winchester is 6 years older then me and Sam Winchester is 2 years older then me. I was the little sister that Dean never got and Sammy's best friend. We were the dynamic trio. Until, well, that's for another time.

Anyways, I was one of the best hunters there was besides the Winchesters, my brother and dad. I was a girl and that made me even more fascinating. I'm great with a large knife and the bow and arrow. Guns I'm okay with.

I worked with just Sam and Dean for 1 year, then it was Dean and I for 2 years. Dean and I had a hint of chemistry but we didn't bother messing with it. Sammy and I though, we were best friends one minute, lovers the next, and then we were at each others necks.

After Sam left for Stanford I was needless to say pissed. We were kinda dating at the time and we had gone back to see our families. Sam and John got into a bad fight and Sam just left. No call to tell me he was fine. No letter left behind.

2 years later I left Dean to go to college, got engaged and my heart ripped apart, and then boom hear we are.

My jaws were clenched tightly as we're my fists. I felt something boil inside me at the fees words 'after you left'. It reminded me of what my mom did. My eyes were closed shut. "Guys get into the basement and lock the door, right now." I said with a raspy low voice.

"What Lyn? Why?" Dean asked with worry. "I'll be fine but you two won't be if you don't listen!" I bellowed making the boys jump a little.

"JUST FUCKING DO IT!"
