Chapter 9
Sam's POV

"So are you staying with us now or going back to being a dick?" Dean asked me with venom in his voice. "I'm staying, but I gotta ask, why are you being such a dick to me right now? I made a mistake so what?!" I asked while glancing at Lyn. Her face was swollen and her whole body was covered in blood. "Because she was pissed! You didn't trust her! In relationships you have to learn trust and I know that doesn't come easily to us, as hunters, but we both have known Lyn for a while and she doesn't lie, like ever. Plus you heard the demon, her dad and brother are probably safe somewhere hunting without her, because Alec's his favorite." Dean said the last part with disgust.

Granted, we liked Alec, but what he did, leaving his little sister in the dust like that. Their dad was a problem though, he was a complete dick to his children, I could remember a time where things got bad.

"Give it back please," Lyn pleaded and reached for her school books. Though we may have skipped around a lot, Lyn was a genius and never did anything too bad, like ever, even I was worse than her. "You're so weird Lyn!" Alec teased with a small grin and held her books above his head. Lyn was 15, I was 15, Alec was 18 and Dean was 19.

Dean ran around the motel room with her folders and papers, teasing her just as badly as Alec was. "Give it back now!" She yelled in frustration as I laughed at her and her angriness. Lyn's forehead creased, her eyes narrowed and she licked her lips, plotting her plan most likely. All of a sudden she launches herself after Alec, missing him ever so slightly and chases him. "I'll get John!" Lyn yelled trying to keep her giggling in as she chased Alec.

As she chases Alec, her father walks in, wasted and angry. Alec stops as Lyn giggles, "Give up that easily?" She says then looks up and sees her fathers angry face. "What's going on here?" Tony bellows, glaring at Lyn and Alec, but mostly Lyn. "Just running around, trying to get my books back from Dean and Alec." She explained strongly as her father laughed. "You're that concerned about school work and books?" Tony asked and kept his hard glare on Lyn.

"Dad..." Alec tries to interrupt but his father ignores him. I kept my eye on the door and window, waiting for my dad to get back as Dean watched Tony cautiously. He stepped closer to Lyn slowly, Alec standing still. "You need to learn that some bitch like you won't make it in to college. You're a hunter, it's your job. So school isn't going to help you at all in life." He hissed. "You're brother and Dean are right for teasing you; you're a freak." Tony was in Lyn's face as she stood still, no expression on her face at all.

Tony did something terrible that night. He hit Lyn four times. Punching her twice in the stomach, once in the face and kicking her in the stomach once she was on the ground. "Tony!" My dad yelled as we all sat there in shock and fear. Tony looked back at my father who had made his way over and pulled him off of Lyn. "I'm advising you to leave now and come back when you have your shit together." My dad said angrily as he opened the door and shoved Tony out.

Lyn was like the daughter my dad never got to have, and he protected her with everything he had. "Lyn?" Alec whispered and slowly started his way over to her. "Don't come near me." She growled as she broke down. "I hate you Alec! I hate all of you except John! He's the only one who actually did something!" Lyn sobbed and began to hiccup uncontrollably. My dad looked at Dean, Alec, and I instantly.

"You watched?!" He asked in a low threatening tone. "We didn't know how to take care of-" Dean started but my dad yelled. "You pull the bastard off Dean, as goes for you Alec! That's your little sister and you just watched your father beat her." My dad shook his head, "Go to bed now." He directed in a strict tone. I glanced at Lyn one more time before I left. Her face was bruised and her black hair in her face as she sat on the ground.
