Waiting.

Kate's P.O.V
It had now been over an hour since I had left Tom. My makeup artist was still plastering makeup all over my face and my hair was also being remodeled. I now was wearing fuzzy zebra pajama pants and a loose white top.

"Aren't you happy that you get to film in pajamas practically all day today?" questioned Anna, my hair stylist.

"Obviously!" I shouted while running my hands over the soft material covering my legs. The smile that now appeared on my face was barely real. The only thing that was on my mind was Tom. Filming for this new movie would give him an awful lot of time to hang out with Jade. If it was any other girl I would be completely okay with it, but it wasn't. For over 10 years she had been all over Tom and over time it seemed that he became very fond of her constant flirting.

Thankfully the many hours of filming got him off of my mind and brightened my mood. At 10, we finally got a break and I decided to go eat with one of my friends from the movie set.
"So where do you want to go?" I asked Maya as we got into my car.

"We should get McDonald's and then go eat it on the beach?"

"Yes!" I said in excitement. I had only known Maya for the few months we had been filming but it was pretty clear to me that I could trust her with my Tom situation.

"Do you ever miss filming Harry Potter?" she asked while I shoved a hash brown into my mouth.

An aching pain began to grow in my chest while thinking about the Harry Potter cast and all the memories. "All the time. In a way I wish J.K. Rowling would just keep writing the books so that we could just keep filming. After 10 years, they felt like family," I said while blankly staring out at the waves.

"Well at least you still have Tom?"

"I don't think I do. Do you know who Jade is?" She nodded. "Well, she has a very strong interest in him and recently he's been spending so much time with her. I think I'm loosing him, Maya. He's being so distant."

She starting biting her bottom lip," if I have learned anything about Tom from his interviews with you, it's that he can't keep his eyes off of you and it seems like he really cares about you. I'm not saying things can't change, but love doesn't just go away."
"I guess you're right. I'm gonna ask him about it tonight," and with that it was time to go back to the set.

Tom's P.O.V.
"Hm," I said in frustration as I threw rose pedals onto the bed and began to rearrange them. "Do you think they look alright?"
"They look just fine Tom, I'm sure she will love them," said Jade as she was hanging up fairy lights around the room.
"She better or else the night won't be as perfect as it needs to be." I ran my hands through the stubble on my chin, fell back on the bed, and let out a long sigh. I now only had two hours before Kate would be home and I began to start panicking as hardly anything was ready. I still had to make myself presentable and pick up dinner while Jade finished decorating the room. 

"You know what she is going to say, Tom. We both know it so I don't understand why you are panicking. Everything is going to work out," Jade said.
