He ran from something he could not bear to look at, cowering from something he wasn't even sure of. Mara could only remember watching his friend be taken, the horror in her eyes as she was swept away. Luckily he landed on some sort of soft surface, his body was mostly fine apart from some scrapes. A soft chatter seemed to lull him forward deeper into the catacombs of hallways. As Mara wandered around he thought to himself;

"How did I get here? *what* is here? Where is here??"

Dungeon room after dungeon room Mara eventually found himself at a dead end. The room was quite welcoming in his opinion, with a warm fire, and a soft chair. Mara noticed that the quiet clicking seems to have stopped, for now, giving him a chance to rest. However, before he gave it a second thought he was already sat in the nice chair. Counting all the bricks as if they were sheep, he drifted off to sleep. He was suddenly awoken by strange snarls and clanging of iron, recognizing it as the creature that took Tori.

"It's that... that THING I heard before-"

Noticing a large Hearth Mara grabbed the fire poker from the toolset there. At the moment Mara figured he needed a weapon. Unfortunately, his legs stopped as he tried to run and he closed his eyes as it came running at him. Mara heard strange snarls from the creature. This creature is utterly horrifying and indescribable. A small bit of it came into his view and he passed out from even attempting to make sense of what he saw. Even an immortal mind could never make sense of it. When he awoke, Mara was sitting next to his friend, Tori. They were tied up by what he assumed to be dried entrails, braided into a rope. Tori slowly turned towards Mara With a crazed look in her eyes.

"y- You saw it too right? RI... RIGHT??"

Tori began to cackle maniacally.

"YOU LEFT ME HERE DIDN'T YOU?? WAS IT WORTH IT? TO LET ME-"

Tori immediately stopped as the iron door behind them broke open and she quickly transitioned into a calm and controlled voice. As Tori asked the creature questions Mara was hit with an ear-piercing tone when it "answered". Its tone maddened Mara, as it trudged towards him, and he was forced to look away. He may not know much about this creature but Mara knew full well looking at it would almost certainly lead to madness...
