Prologue
"What? You don't love me anymore? Just yesterday we were smiling and laughing together...how could you do this to me?" This was the worst news I could get. I found out my parents were getting divorced about three days ago and now Damon is breaking up with me. Great.
"I'm sorry Lily, but I think I'm in love with someone else."
This made me even more upset. I made a promise to myself a while ago that I would never cry in front of a guy. I'm 16 years old and I've kept that promise to myself. I never have and never will cry in front of a guy. Especially an ex.
"I think you should leave. Now."
Damon looked at me then went down the three steps of my front porch and never looked back.
Chapter 1: Get to Know Me :)
So, now you know how my heart got broken, or at least when I thought it was broken. That was 3 years ago. I'm now 19. My name is Lily Greyson. I have black hair with purple highlights and at my high school when i went i was the 'emo girl'. I live in my own house that I paid for myself with my best friend Alayna. We've been friends since first grade and I love her like a sister.
My parents died when I was 17 in a car accident. They were arguing, as usual, and hit a tree. I didn't have a good relationship with them and they didn't acknowledge my presence.
I don't have a boyfriend or crush and I don't go to school. I work at Hot Topic because that's the best store ever! And thats my life. Oh, did I mention I'm a vampire?
