Chapter 3: Kiss Me...Please?!
All I could think of to say was"Cool." Smooth Lily...He just smiled at me so I had to think of something else to say. "Well,I have to go. My friend is waiting for me. Maybe we should exchange numbers to meet again?"
"I would love to. Text me later."
We exchanged numbers and I left.
I got to my house and let out a snort as I realized Alayna was home. She truly doesn't know how much I worry about her. I don't know what I would do without her.
I run inside and hug her. She looks at me with a shocked face and says "Someone's excited to see me."
I look at her and scream "Movie night!"
She nods excitedly and says "I'll get the popcorn you get the movie."
I pick out Twilight because we like to laugh at the movie and throw popcorn at Robert Pattinson. (No offense to anyone who likes Twilight and Robert Pattinson) "Alayna, I'm ready!" I scream into the kitchen.
"Coming!"
We sit down and watch Twilight as we yell at the screen and throw popcorn everywhere. At the end of the movie I say goodnight to Alayna and we go into our rooms.
As I'm about to lay down I hear my phone vibrate. He texted me?
Hey stranger. How was the rest of your day? -Erick
Hey. It was good. Had a movie night. What about you? -Lily
As I'm waiting for him to respond I grab my iPod and listen to Situations by Escape the Fate. (I listened to this song while I wrote this chapter) I love this song!
I missed you actually...want to meet up somewhere? -Erick
I hesitated to answer. Should I meet him? Alayna won't know she's sleeping and I could slip out the window. Gotta love my vampire ninja skills. I really want to see him for some reason though. Why not?
Sure. Sounds good. Meet me at Rosemont park? -Lily
Okay. Be there in about 2 min. -Erick
He must live close like I do...creepy. Haha.
I jump outta my window not making a sound. I run to the park which would take a normal human about 10 minutes but only took me about 3.
I don't see him yet so I go sit on the swings. I start to see a black object about 80 feet away. Must be him. I wait for him to come but I am surprised when I hear a whisper near my ear. "Hello gorgeous."
I turn around and see his god-like face extremely close to mine. I can feel his breath on my lips.
"Hi." I manage to say.
He laughs then starts pushing me on the swing.
"I never knew vampires could blush." He says. Then he just smiles at me.
I blushed?! He must be lying. But my face does feel hot... He is affecting me in ways that shouldn't be possible.
"I like it." He whispers.
To change the subject I say "It's nice out tonight." I stare up at the sky and he stops pushing me.
"It is. Why don't we sit on the bench?"
I agree and as we're walking,slowly, he laces our fingers together. I look up at him and smile. What am I doing? I just met this guy. Am I falling for him already?
"Why do you look shocked?"
I look at him and get lost in his bright blue eyes. So beautiful. I realized I didn't answer him so I say "No reason." He looks like he doesn't believe me but leaves it alone.
We reach the bench and sit across from each other.
"So, I know we just met, but you're extremely beautiful and I would like to take you out on a real date...if that's okay with you."
I definitely blushed this time. Damn this guy!
"I would love to. And by the way you're quite attractive yourself."
He smiles at me and leans in. Is he going to kiss me?! I'm about to close my eyes when I feel his breath on my neck.
"Goodnight Lily."
Then he's gone.
Holy shit!
