Chapter 2: New Vampire Friend?
I've only been a vampire for a few months. Sometimes I still feel normal...besides drinking blood, my eyes being sensitive to the sun, and I have fangs. Other than that I'm pretty normal. Oh, and now that I'm a vampire I'm extremely gorgeous. Before, I was pretty...but now, I'm beautiful.
It's 3:00 pm and Alayna's not home! I hope she's okay. And yes, she's human. I wanted a coffee so I decided to go to Starbucks. As soon as I walked in his scent hit me. I could tell he was a vampire instantly and he was completely gorgeous. He knew I was one too. I could tell. He was staring at me! I waited in line then ordered my mocha coffee with a muffin. I still have to eat regular food but I don't gain weight. I went to get a table an the cute vampire waved me over so of course I went.
"Umm...you waved me over?" I asked with a smile.
"Your scent. I know what you are."
"Same for you. I could smell you instantly." I sat down and opened my muffin.
"I'm Erick Wolf. And you are?"
"I was always told to never talk to strangers. And definitely not give them my name." I winked at him. What can I say? He's very attractive.
"And I was always told to admire beauty when I see it. And I definitely see it right now. So what's your name?"
I pause for a second wondering if I should tell him. Oh what the hell I'm a vampire I could handle him if he was a stalker. "I'm Lily Greyson."
"Nice to meet you Lily. So tell me, how old we're you when you turned and how long we're you a vampire?"
"I was turned a few months after I turned 19 and that was in December. So I've only been a vampire for 6 months...what about you?"
"I was turned the day of my 21st birthday. September 25th. I have only been a vampire for 20 years."
