Amanda woke up and her whole body was sore. She felt mentally and physically exhausted.

She heard a door open and she saw a women she did not recognize.

The women spoke with an accent that Amanda couldn't place.

Amanda just stared at the women in confusion.

The women soon repeated herself with a hint of worry when she noticed Amanda staring at her.

"Katerina?"

"Katerina!" She said one more time. Waking Amanda from her daze.

"Sorry. Yeah?"

"Why are you not out of your bed yet. It's pass noon." The women said in a scolding voice while grabbing something from the makeshift nightstand.

"Uh..." Amanda stared for a second longer.

"Sorry, yeah I'm going to get out of bed right now."

"Good." She stared at me for second longer then it should have been looking like she was going to say something else but thought against  it.

She walked out but not before giving me a second glance.

"What the actual fuck?" Amanda muttered when she decided the women was out of ear shot.

Amanda got up from were she was sitting deciding to start exploring to see were she was.

While searching for something to tell her what happened to her. She found a journal under the bed.

Amanda usually always tried not to invade people's privacy. She learned the hard way on how people reacted when you did. She shivered when she remembered what her father had done.

She shook her head and focused back on the journal. She decided finding out what happened to her overruled the privacy of whoever owned this journal.

She pulled the cover of it to reveal the front page. She winced when it made a noise in the silent room.

She read the words on the page from top to bottom. Amanda froze after the last few words registered in her brain.

It read "Property of Katerina Petrova" written in perfect cursive.

Amanda stood staring at the words until a knock on the door spooked her. She closed the book with a little more force then needed and hid it back under the bed before a man entered the room.

"Your mom wants you to go downstairs." He left without waiting for a response.

It took Amanda a minute to compose herself. Amanda's body started walking to where she thought was the way downstairs. While her brain was working overtime to wrap her head around what happened to her.

The few things Amanda did know was that the women from earlier was supposedly her mother and the man must have been her father.

They felt oddly familiar like she saw them somewhere before.

With all this running through her head she forgot the most important parts of the pieces.

First was Katerina's journal.

Second was the women called her Katerina.

Third was what death said before she ended up here.

Amanda was halfway down the stairs when she put all the pieces together.

"Omg...Omg...Omg! Omg I'm Katerina!"she barely believing what was coming out of her mouth.

"What did you say, sweetheart?" Katerina's mom? My mom? Our mom? Whosever mom it is asked.

"Oh nothing, mother." She said to quickly to be believable but mother choose to believe it this time.

"Get off the stairs and come sit I have something to talk to you about."

Amanda walked down the rest of the stairs sitting where her mom directed her to sit.

"I know that you must still be upset on how your father and me reacted to your daughter, but you must know it was all out of love. No one would marry a women with a bastered daughter. We were just doing the best for you. You must know that don't you."

"Yes of course mother."

"Good. I just wanted you to remember that I care about you."

"I never forgot."

"That was all I wanted to say you may go back to your room."

Amanda got up from her seat obediently and started walking up the stairs. She finally reached her room and closed the door.

Amanda walked to where her bed was and laid down to think about everything that happened.

Amanda thought about what death said about sending her to the universe where vampire diaries existed and she landing in Katerina's body when that happened.

Taking what her mom said Katerina had her baby and it was soon to be the time where she ran away or maybe she should have already left.

"Am I messing things um already" Amanda thought.

Amanda made a plan to leave tomorrow at night to have time to pack what she needed and to find a ride out of this town.

Amanda closed her eyes hoping that maybe just maybe that this was all a dream and that she would wake up back in her own bed.

Author's note

I wanna say sorry for how long it took for me to continue this book. Also I want to say that for the next chapter I'm going to write it in first person point of view because I don't why but third person was kind of exhausting.
