Y/n's POV

As Jaeden walks out dad sits in my desk chair and glances around the room.

"So how has he been lately?" He asks.

"He's really improved. His medication has helped a lot and I think most of the trauma he's had has been worked through with his therapy." I say while taking a seat in the chair in front of my desk.

"That's good. Very good. I hope the other patients follow suit under your care." He says while looking at Jaeden's file.

"Now about him working here... even though he was emitted, if he can pass his sanity test with a 90% I will higher him as your assistant. Now this doesn't guarantee his job, one toe out of line and he's gone. Understand?" He says as he stands up and walks to the door.

I stand up with a smile. "Yes dad! Thank you so much dad! I'll order his sanity test right away!" I say as I hug him and watch him walk out the room.

I call Jaeden back into the room to tell him the good news. "My dad said that you can work here as my assistant under one condition." I say with a smirk.

"Oh? What's the one condition?" He says walking closer with curious eyes.

"Welllll, you have to pass the sanity test with a 90%" I say looking into his eyes.

"A sanity test? That's it? That's all I need to be able to work by your side everyday?" He says smiling. "I can't wait. I'm so excited I could kiss you!" He says hugging me.

"Then do it." I say looking into his eyes.

He looks back into mine and glances at my lips. He slowly leans in as I do the same. Our lips connect with ease fitting together perfectly like it was meant to be. It was a slow and gentle kiss. The perfect first kiss between an unlikely couple.
