003 ✧ Growing up II

age one and four months- October 1999

Third P.O.V:

Ellie had more things to do as she grew, they weren't the thing she wanted to do, but she'll have to deal with it till she gets two and can practice her magic.

Ellie watches the TV with her family, but what she loved to watch the most,
-besides some cartoons and anime-, was music, -piano and violins the most-, and food, oh how she loved food.

Oh and every time these favourite channels of hers would pop up, her eyes would go wide and note every single thing she sees, then her aunt, Jenna, would joke and say, "oh look at that she'll probably teach me how to cook then", then proceeds to sit down and watch with her, yet still can't cook to save her life.

Age one and six months- December 1999

John soon became very familiar with Ellie and would spend a lot of time with her, getting to know her, even if she's a baby.

But Ellie, no matter what age, she appreciates the effort, so she plays with him back, and she always loved the bedtime, -daytime too- stories about vampires, werewolves, and the supernatural.

But her favourite was always the originals.

Miranda would come into the room and say: "she's a kid John, those stories are not for kids." But John would simply ignore her and continue telling stories that made Ellie's eyes go wide in awe.

Grayson on the other hand, never get to spend more than ten minutes alone with her, -he got a record she would barley stand him for a minute-, she strongly disliked him, and never let him hold her.

He tried, a lot of times, but she'd simply wail and cry.

Ellie barely cries, not even when she was younger, she'd just make different sounds for when she's hungry or wants her diaper changed.

Diapers are embarrassing.

Ellie loves Christmas with her new family, sure she barely goes around Grayson but she still has 'uncle' John, Miranda, Jenna, Mason, and the grandparents.

Age one and eleven months- May 2000

Third P.O.V:

Ellie has gotten a lot of visits through her dreams with Marcella.

She still doesn't feel familiar enough with her to call her Venuhya.

So she tolerates her, and still practice magic and all sort of things with her in her dreamland or mindscape.

So she's getting the hang of it, and Marcella had told her she's doing great for a newbie, those were her exact words, "That's a great job for a newbie when the time is right enough I'll start giving you grimoires to practice with alright?" Then she muttered something under her breath in a language she couldn't understand, yet it felt familiar.
