When Love Starts to Bloom Slowly

Yuki's POV

I sighed heavily as I recalled my conversation with Haru.

I'm not even sure if she gets my indirect confession...this is so embarrassing to think about.

I secretly glanced behind to her desk beside Kyo. She seemed...happy. I wonder who's the reason behind those precious smile of hers.

I didn't notice that I've been staring at her for almost a minute now when she suddenly look at me then immediately looked away, unfortunately she turned around that stupid cat sides.

Finally today's school is now over. As I was fixing my things at my desk I got a glimpse of Kyo and...(y/n)?

'I'm...getting jealous' I thought to myself, clutching my bag tightly. 'but she's not even mine' I thought again as I loosened my grip to my bag.

"Ah Honda-san! Want to walk home together?" She nodded with a closed eyed smile. We wave goodbye to her two friends before walking out our classroom.

"Thank you for inviting me to walk home with you Sohma-kun! Kyo-kun can't go with us today...(y/n)-chan asked him out today! I'm happy for them"

I just hid my jealousy with my smile. "Well I knew that those two had something with each other, but are you ok with it Honda-san?" I asked looking at her side. She turned to me very flustered while waving her hands around.

"Wh-what do you mean Sohma-kun!? I-I'm truly happy for them! And of course I'm fine with it!" I know that she's lying but I didn't want to embarrass her more.

She looked forward with her sweet smile. "What about you Sohma-kun, are you ok with the two of them together?"

I was a bit surprised at her sudden question. "Of course n-" I stopped myself for saying more when I realized what I was about to say. "I-I mean if they're happy then there's nothing for me not to disagree"

"Oh... I'm sorry I just thought you- you like (y/n)-chan..." She nervously said chuckling a bit. I laughed a little to maybe take away the awkwardness.

(Y/N)'s POV

"Omg Kyo!" I basically shouts. He looked at me kinda annoyed "What is it that you had to drag me all the way here!?" I just ignored his question and grab my bag, finding that important thing.

"Hey are you ignoring me!?"

"Shut up Neko! I'm trying to find the letter" I shouted back at him while still looking for that certain letter.

"Letter?" He asked oddly calmly. I hummed in response. "Ah here it is!"

I finally turned to him handing him the letter. "What? For me?" I smacked the letter at his hands. "Idiot! For Yuki of course. I couldn't give it to him personally so I thought maybe you could...help me bring that to him?"

He annoyingly sighed as if complaining why choose him to deliver it. "You could've asked Tohru"

"Well sorry about that Kyo. You're the closest to me so you're the first person who crossed my mind ; Kyo please please help me just this time I promise!" I said looking at him with my puppy eyes.

"Ughh fine!"

"Ah! Thank you Kyo!!" I thanked as I hugged him tightly.

"S-stop! You're killing me!"

3rd's POV

"Welcome home Kyo-kun! You're just right in time, I just finished preparing dinner"

Kyo sat down.

"So how's the date with (y/n)-chan?" Shigure asked suddenly causing the said boy to spit out the water he's drinking. "It's not a date!"

"Whatever you say stupid cat"

"Stop being jealous stupid rat"

Yuki was surprised and annoyed that Kyo went to his room. "Am not, stupid cat!"

Kyo just sighed and handed him (y/n)'s letter.

"What's this?" He asked, observing the letter carefully. "She told me to give it to you"

"Who's she?" Yuki asked as Kyo was about to walk away. "You know who" Kyo said walking away.
