I woke up with a similar warm embrace I thought it was keith but when I opened my eyes and saw dane for a second I had hope it was keith that I woke up too

y/n; ugh my eyes hurt

dane yawned and opened his eyes

dane; of course they would you spent the whole night crying anyways imma go take a shower and head to work

y/n; ugh ok

I sat up and took a stick to smoke

y/n; ha I hope you find someone who will deserve you keith knight pittman

after awhile dane came out of the shower half naked

y/n; are you coming back after?

dane; hmm im not sure why will you miss me

y/n; oh gosh

I chuckled and threw the pillow at him

dane; haha anyways remember to eat ok and apply some eyedrops for your eyes

he said and smiled before he left he kissed my forehead just like how keith used to do

I said and cried abit more before I myself went to take a shower and calmed down and went to smoke after that in my robe then I looked at the lighter and cup keith bought me i couldn't bring myself to throw it away then i remembered i went to open my cabinet and saw the supposed to be engagement ring of mine i smiled and took it out and wore it on my ring finger

i said and looked out the window whittag was no longer there neither were the guards of keith guess he really believed my words haha i wished he wouldn't hate me but i think its better for him to hate me

after y/n ended the call with me i looked my ring she gave me

keith; that doesn't make sense IT DOESNT MAKE ANY FUCKING SENSE

Charles; please calm down sir

keith; i'll wait for you i show you that your worthy of me waiting for

i said while stare at the ring she gave me while crying like hot mess now

Charles; but you should eat something ms y/n said she wanted you to take care of yourself while she was gone

keith; yea i guess your right prepare me some dinner Charles

Charles; will do sir

he said and smiled then left i was thinking of the phone call we had it didn't occur to me at the time but i could remember very clearly that she was crying as well it was soft and im sure she tried to not let me notice it but i heard it i know what she sounds like when she is speaking normally and her voice broke multiple time she was crying as badly as me i know you still love me y/n i promise i will wait for you and for you to become my wife i will marry you however long it takes i love you

A FEW WEEKS LATER

Y/N POV

so its been a few weeks since that incident with keith and now keith is doing well from what I see online he just confirmed a lot of deals with huge ceos and he's been asked for a lot of interviews and photoshoots for his handsome face but anyway dane moved in with me because he was afraid I would do something rash or whatever ive been thinking of opening my own coffee shop and I decided to continue working as a writer I took a break at first because of keith now I dont have a reason to why I shouldn't

I sat on the table counter thinking what to say since I just got back to writing after a year I was deep in thought to the point I didn't even hear dane come in little back story about dane he's a firefighter he used to bring girls over to his house all the time for ons (one night stand) then never see them ever again but after he moved in with me he's been coming home straight after work I was focusing on the story when someone hugged me from the back
