"Meet me at Sky cafe" Sunwoo reads the message again. His watch shows 10:03 am, he's 3 minutes late now, as he lost his direction. 3 minutes is not a big deal but for Sunwoo, he doesn't want to make the boy wait for too long. First impression is important okay. Sunwoo sees the said cafe not too far from his current standing. He jogs a little, excited to meet Haknyeon.

Sunwoo who has been standing awkwardly in front of the door of the cafe brave himself to push the door open. A chime of tinkling doorbell is heard across the cute tiny little cafe as he walked in, attracting the attention of the barista.

"Welcome sir, what can we do for you.." the barista looks up to look at his customer, only to be shocked to meet the eye of an idol. His voice hitches, eyes wide open-unbelief to see who is in front of him.

Sunwoo only smiles, putting a finger on his lip as a sign for the barista to keep his voice low-don't want to cause a ruckus in the peaceful cafe. "I'm here to meet someone, I will order later," says Sunwoo calmly. The barista only nods understandingly.

Sunwoo glances to the back of the cafe. The edge of his lips curls as he sees a cute little boy, brown curly hair, blue outfit and a beret to match his cute appearance, sitting beside of the big clear window. With soft lo-fi music played in the background, he absolutely looks so gorgeous today, and Sunwoo is whipped. He makes his way to the waiting boy. He clears his throat to catch the boy's attention. As the boy looks up to see him, they hold eye contact for the second time. Sunwoo feels the whole zoo in his stomach and he internally cries.

"Beautiful.." his small whispers didn't go unnoticed by the boy.

"Umm, thank you. I guess? You look great too" Haknyeon let out a small laugh as Sunwoo takes a sit in front of him, face blushes a little with his sudden confession.

"I already order a drink for you. Your fans said you don't drink bitter things so is chocolate frappe okay for you?" Sunwoo is more than okay to hear that he makes the research about his likes and dislikes. He feels important. 'Yes, of course. Thank you" he flashes his wide boxy smile that warm haknyeon's heart.

They both take a sip of their drinks, not knowing how to start a conversation. But to be really honest, the situation is rather comfortable for both of them. But the silence doesn't last long as both boys start talking at the same time.

"So-"
"Well-"
They glace at each other before they look away -both blushing furiously. Sunwoo covers his mouth before talking again. "Well, I actually don't know how to start first but I want to introduce myself, officially. From now on, I'll be your soulmate"

Haknyeon stomach does something, closely to flip. Hearing the words coming from Sunwoo does wonder to him. He can't cover his big smile any more. "It's too early to call ourselves as that but technically, we are so...nice to meet you too"

And that is when the date goes from 'I don't know where to start' to 'Oh my god! me too!" They share a lot about themself, starting from what they do every day, their family, pets, job and study, interests and all. Sometimes Sunwoo tries to crack some jokes here and there. From the conversation, they realise that they share a lot of things in common.

"And you know what? I got bite because I took his food but hey, I'm starving too" Sunwoo shares the story during his trainee day, how he got into a fight with his friend because of a bag of chips. Haknyeon laugh is so endearing to Sunwoo, and when he thinks he couldn't get any cuter, he's clearly wrong.

Eventually, their cute little date needs to end soon. Sunwoo still got practices to attend, and Haknyeon has loads of assignments to do. They are standing facing each other in front of the cafe, ready to part way. Sunwoo raises his hand, fixing two strands of messy hair on his forehead. Haknyeon heartbeat starting to raise even though he doesn't have high blood pressure. All of his blood start to rush inside of his body, and his face became bright like a tomato from the act. Sunwoo seems to notice his blushed cheek and starts to chuckle but he acts like nothing has happened to not make haknyeon even more embarrassed. "Stop being so cute or else I can't let you go. " Sunwoo says with a heavy heart.

"Nonsense" Haknyeon let out a small laugh, eyes looking at his feet to cover his reddening cheek. "I guess we will meet again?" Sunwoo says with his anticipating voice

Despite the disappointment swelling in his chest, Haknyeon gets to say his last word before bidding his goodbye "Yes, soon"

And what they mean by soon is 3 days after their first meeting. They always make time to meet each other, planning fun things to do every single time and it makes them dying while waiting for their next date to come. Their second date was at the park when they were having a small picnic with homemade food made by Haknyeon and soon it becomes their third, fourth and nth date together. Yes, their date is soft and it's moving at a slow pace, starting with a slight skinship -warm hand intertwining, foot fight under the table- to bold moves such as fluttering kisses and more hugs. Each day, their heart is filled with loves

As an idol, shouldn't Sunwoo be more cautious when it's about his private life? The thing is, his fans are taught well. Sunwoo has always been the one who gives them comfort through his song and they're paying him by not interfering with his love life.

After going out for countless times already, they're still not officially in a relationship, though, Sunwoo has tried to bring the topic up. But, Haknyeon always dodges the question and one time, Haknyeon straight up telling him that he's still not ready to be in one. Sunwoo is frustrated. He thought that they're getting closer day by day but what if it's only in his imagination. He needs the boy to tell him the reason why or at least to give him the assurance that this relationship can happen in the future. But Sunwoo can't force someone to be with him, he doesn't want to be in a toxic relationship and he knows that Haknyeon will not like it too. So he forces himself to wait.

To wait for the time when Haknyeon can open his heart fully to accept Sunwoo in his life.

Ahh~ I put a little angst at the end. Just be prepared because this story is not all rainbow and stuff.
