Silence. All Sunwoo can hear is silence. There is no sound coming from his phone. He's hoping for the ding sound, indicating that he gets a message from someone. A person who he cannot meet because of his busy schedule. He misses the warmth of his hand, his cute wrinkle beside his eyes when he smiled, his smooth honey voice- he misses everything about the boy.

Sunwoo is snapped from his little daydream when his phone rings. The edges of his lips curve up like being pull by an invisible string, a big grin forms on his face. His hand quickly reach for the phone, big doe eyes on the screen. But his smile doesn't last long, the screen shows an unknown number. His shoulder drops as disappointment creep its way into his heart. 'What am I hoping' he mumbles to himself. He's contemplating with himself, thinking if he should answer the phone call or not. 'What if it's something important?' he thinks before he presses the green button, accepting the call from the unknown person.

'Hello, is this Kim Sunwoo's number?' He hears the voice from the other side asking.
'Urm yes, it is. I'm sorry but if you want me to sign for insurance, don't worry because my company already-' he doesn't finish his rambling when the person on the other line cut him off.

'AHAHAHA what? No, I'm not an insurance seller lol you must get lots of calls from them. I'm Kevin, Haknyeon's friend.' Kevin rolled his eyes, disbelief with Sunwoo's words. 'I have something important to inform you and it's about Haknyeon, your baby boy'

With the mention of Haknyeon's name, Sunwoo quickly straightens his body. 'What about him? Is he sick? Where is he I need to see him' Sunwoo's voice is coated with concern. He's so close to getting up from his seat and dash his way to Haknyeon

'Calm your tits down boy, no he's okay, I guess. His heart not, I mean. He's sleeping peacefully now, don't worry. But I want you to give him space and time because he needs it ' Kevin puts the call on speaker as he sits beside the sleeping boy. He adjusts the comforter on Haknyeon, let the boy sleeping comfortably.

'Haknyeon has been through a lot before he meets you. Trust me, he likes you the same amount as you do. If not, he will not behave like this.' His hand combs Haknyeon's hair sweetly as he continues.

'He just scared that you will leave him. It's not easy for him to open up to people, and it's not my place to tell you the story. So please, if you want the best for him, please wait for him for a little bit. You can do that right?' Kevin waits for Sunwoo's answer but he hears nothing from the other side. He completely understands his feeling and gives him time to think.

On the other side, Sunwoo feels hurt in his heart, not because he needs to distance himself from Haknyeon but he's hurt for Haknyeon. Pain washes over Sunwoo at the thought of what had happened to Haknyeon in the past for him to close his heart that tightly. He's hurt at the thought of Haknyeon fighting with his own feeling. He wants to hug the boy, telling him that he'll never him alone at his darkest time. He takes some time to organize his thought before speaking again.

'It's hard for me to do so but you must know him better than I do. Please take care of him for me..'

' I will, no probs' Kevin says and almost ended the call until Sunwoo continues his words again

'Wait! I want to tell something to him. Can you pass my word to Haknyeon when he wakes up '
Sunwoo says softly. 'Of course, spill it' He can hear Sunwoo take a long, deep breath before he tells everything that has been accumulated in his heart.

'Haknyeonie, I will wait for you, always even it takes forever. You mean the world to me, my destiny and my everything. I'll protect you properly. I-' His voice is wavering, tears threatening to fall from his eyes. He stops to wipe his eyes and continues his hanging words.

'I LOVE YOU' he says his last words before hanging up the call. Sunwoo finally broke down, alone in his studio. He feels helpless. Helpless because he can't help his love from his traumatizing past.

But one thing he doesn't know. Haknyeon heard everything. Kevin doesn't have to tell him because he's awake when he told those words.

' I love you too' Haknyeon silently wishing that he can tell him these 3 magical words personally, but he's a coward with a deep scar in his heart.
