Nandini with a grumpy pout ascended the stairs ..She saw Manik's room and soon her grumpy pout changed into a smirk .
She tiptoed in his room and hid beside the door waiting for Manik to scare him .Her excitement increased by every footstep coming near...and the door got opened
"Boooo" she jumped before him who was standing unaffected
He chuckled "Seriously Nandini! " she pouted
"Why didn't uh got scared" she murmured
He smiled "coz i m not scared of anything Nandini " he said she nodded
"Now...if you are done so i m sleepy " he said and walked towards the bed she sighed
"Good night "she said and left
" Aaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh"Manik stood up worried hearing Nandini's scream "Nandini " he rushed towards her room and knocked the door
"Nandini " she opened the door she was expressionless manik hugged her in releif "Thank god uh are ok...you scared me so much " he whispered
He broke the hug "Nandini why uh screamed .." He asked checking whether she got hurt somewhere... But she stood expressionless .."Nandini uh ok?..plzz say something "he said but no answer
" Nandini "he said again worriedly and she burst into laughter manik made a confused face
" Haha manik..i scared uh..uh were ti saying u r not scared of anyone just look at you"she said laughing
And within a second she was pinned to the nearby wall she was shocked she looked towards him...his eyes was spitting fire"How dare uh ..how dare uh play such a prank on me"he gritted his teeth
"Manik " nandini tried to calm him
"How dare uh....uh know how much i was scared .." He said yanking her towards himself..she looked in his eyes which has pain and anger ..
"I am sorry " she said looking down..."sorry!!"manik said pressing his fingers on her arms she hissed in paom manik left her realising he's hurting her ..
"Dont uh ever play such a prank on me" he warned her nd left banging he door

Midnight Nandini was tossing on the bed not able to get sleep.. Manik's words were running in her mind she stood up and sighed seeing the jug empty.. She climb down the bed and walked out the kitchen..she frown seeing Manik's room lights switched on...she peeped in the room. .he was tuning guitar with some unknown expressions "Manik" she called he stopped playing but didn't looked towards her
"Manik are uh mad at me?"she asked on verge of crying...Manik didn't answered
" Manik say na"
"Manik "
"Manik"
"Yess" manik shouted making her flinch back
"Manik plzz i am sorry plzz don't be mad at me plzz" she cried manik looked towards her she was looking down and sobbing manik's heart melted.
"Plzz Manik. .i only have uh..plzz dont be mad at me..i have no one other than uh" she sobbed manik took her in hug she sobbed in his arms
"Ssshhhh....shhhh its ok" he tried to calm her down
She broke the hug "Are uh mad at me?" She asked with tears flowing down her cheeks
"I am not mad at uh...Nandini. .yes i was angry for that prank but i m not mad at uh i could never be" he said nandini looked in his eyes and hugged him "Thank u"
Manik's pov:
I don't know Nandini what is happening with me why i was so scared when i heard ur scream what is happening with me ...
