Daneliya took a step into the canopy of trees and exhaled when nothing jumped out at her. She looked back at the other as they carefully followed her in. They walked around trees and tripped over roots. They avoided unknown plants and sharp jutting rocks. Every step felt like it could be their last. They had no idea where they were going. For all they knew, they were walking towards the creatures who go by the name of Rickets, but they had to go somewhere.

Griffith unfurled his brown, feathered wings as the light shone through the trees. The ground had some leftover dew on it and his shoes were now covered in it. They had been able to get the pig Hoovlie through the hole without getting attacked by rickets and that was an achievement in and of itself. He wanted to fly! Adventure. It was just in his griffin blood to do so.

He looked up to see Drages shifting in and out of his dragon form, practicing his military drills with the rest of the Dragons as they spewed their different breath in both the dragon form and not. Drages was capable of breathing metal. The ability called metal Flacking. He can do it when he isn't in his dragon form, but he avoided it because the picture is not a pretty one. His eyes get dilated, and his nose spurts out smoke as his mouth sits wide open shooting out sharp shards of metal.

~

Drages shifted between dragon and scaley form. His dragon form had sharp gray scales with blue tips that shine in the sun. The dark pupils slits, in the bright green irises. The sharp metal he spewed from his mouth was the dark blue color of his tipped scales that he could use as defense, his scales keeping the fleshy parts of him safe from the other dragon abilities by conducting it or reflecting it back at them. He shifted back into his Scaley form and flipped, slashing at a purple and yellow scaled dragon.

"Drages!" She hissed breathing her pollen breath at him.

He shut his eyes trying to keep the pollen out of them and turned his back to her, flapping his wings, "Dinah!" he hissed, "The pollen, again?"

Dinah smiled smugly as she returned to her Scaleie form. "Drages, how many times will you fall for that? You have perfected the ice, poison, lava, fire, reflector. What is so hard about pollen?"

Drages shrugged, "I don't know, maybe it just doesn't seem like as much of a threat as some of the others."

Dinah smirked, "Pollen effects many people every year. Getting in their nose, eyes, throats. Allergies are a pain."

He nodded skeptically, "I mean, I see your point, but still. We dragons are made to be able to handle other dragons abilities. To train against each other seems a bit wasteful,"

Daneliya was following an animal trail, she had seen the Ricket, it didn't have paws like this creature appeared to.

"My feet hurt!" Renea complained trudging along behind her in her fancy boots. "I hate the woods."

Daneliya ignored her and kept going. After a good hour of trudging through the woods, they heard a noise. It sounded like that of a human town and filled the group with a sliver of hope. Throwing caution to the wind, they rushed forward.

~

Griffith heard it before he could see it, but he was shocked when the new strangers appeared from the tree line. And leading them was the girl from the building.

The Mayphen's quickly went crazy and jumped into their attack positions ready to fend off this group if they showed themselves to be a threat.
