*Aniala POV*
" We can't have a crisis, my schedule is already full," I said to him while trying to hold all my books in one hand without dropping them.
" I CAN'T FIND MY SHIRT ANIALA, WHERE DID YOU PUT IT!" he yelled through the phone.
" Maybe if you did your own laundry you would know where it is," I smirked as I looked down at the shirt I had on. He was going to flip.
"If I'm late to work it's your fault," he says angrily hanging up the phone.
" Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed today," I muttered to myself. I put my phone on silent and walked into class. I have always been curious about how the human mind works. So when I told Andy and my grandparents that I got a scholarship offer in Colorado to go to school to become a psychologist, they told me to take it. But of course, my best friend in the entire world said I had no choice but to take him with me.
That conversation went a little something like this.

"I'll kill myself if you don't take me with you."
"Andy.. that's toxic and manipulative," I said giving him a look.
Hey, don't get all mental juju stuff on me. You don't really have a choice, we both know you can't afford an apartment by yourself. Plus, I heard they have cuter guys there anyway and I won't even be there half the time I'll be working." he says with his hands on his hips.
I groaned in defeat knowing he was right. There is no way I would be able to afford an apartment and deal with school and work all at once.
Andy smiled knowing I gave in. " I'll go get some boxes."

So that's how I ended up here, sitting in Northeastern Junior College. It took about 3 months for me to be settled in to start classes but it was worth it. I somehow landed a job as a server. It's an ok job and it pays the bills. I put all my books down on the desk and turned to the front of the classroom.
The classroom was not what I expected at all, white Christmas lights lit up every corner of the room. In the back corner, there were bean bags, blankets, and pillows with a couple of shelves filled with books. The rest of the room had desks and chairs spread about. It kind of reminded me of when I was in 8th-grade language arts class.
I sat down at my desk and pulled out the books I would need for this class. As I sat down and got situated I heard someone clear their throat.
I looked up and was met with a black hair green-eyed boy.
"Hi, I'm Cole," he says holding out his hand while looking me up and down.
"Aniala." I hold out my hand for him to shake.
"Cool, my friend Noah is having a party tonight for the beginning of the semester and he told me to spread the word. So if you want to come you can," he says grabbing a piece of paper from his pocket.
He holds it out for me to grab.
"Here is all the information you need to find the place," he says.
"Why not?" I say to myself. I shrug and grab the paper.
"Sure. Can I bring a plus one? I smirk as his face drops.
"Oh, um yeah I guess. Yeah, that's cool," he says.
"Ok cool, see you there," I say turning around just as the teacher walks in.

*Andys POV*
I hear the front door open and spring up off the couch. Aniala steps into the room somehow carrying 4 textbooks her bag, keys, and phone up to her ear. I relaxed knowing it was her and flopped back down onto the couch.
"Close the door please," she says while walking to the kitchen.
"I heard her say something on the phone but I was too far away to hear what she said. I groan and stand back up and close the door. I flop back onto the couch again and grab the remote.
Aniala walks back into the room with just her phone in hand.
"Ok well, I'll talk to you later bug. I love you so much and can't wait to see you again." I hear her grandma say. I perk up hearing her grandma's voice.
"HI GRANDMA!" I yell crawling over the couch like a madman.
"Andy says hi if you didn't hear," Aniala says putting the phone on speaker.
"Oh, I heard him alright send him my love. I have to get your grandpa to have a little pep in his step, he doesn't want to peel potatoes but I just painted my nails and I refuse to mess them up," she says laughing to herself.
" You tell him, Grandma," I say laughing with her.
" You bet I will. Ok well, I have to go, I love you both have fun tonight bug," she says.
" I'll try," Aniala says sighing. She hangs up the phone and turns to me.
"So, about tonight." She says looking at me with an evil glint in her eyes.
