My assumptions were right. I hardly slept that night. In the short minutes when I did fall asleep I ended up having small dreams of Ena. Dreams about her design and her figure. Only small glimpses though, not a full dream.

I continued to toss and turn as I notice the sun slowly replacing the moon. I groaned, tossing a pillow over my face.

Back at the spaceship, I didn't need to sleep. However, I'm designed to adapt to any world I'm in. That includes having to sleep, which was never a problem until now.

It was only until now that I struggled to fall asleep. Usually, when I didn't sleep on other missions, it was because I didn't have the time to sleep. Someone or something was in danger.  I had to be up and running, even if my body was giving up on me.

However, this wasn't the case. I simply just couldn't sleep. Not because someone's life was in danger, or because I had to chase after something, but simply because my mind couldn't fall asleep. I couldn't understand why.

Why can't I stop thinking of Ena? What's so different about her? What is drawing me to her? I can't seem to wrap my head around it. Of all the missions I've gone through, this one seems to stand out the most. Yet, it's not supposed to. This was supposed to be an easy mission to fly by, but my intuition was telling me that it was far from it.

Regardless of the questions running through my head, the sleepless night I had, and the new emotions that I can not understand, there was one thing that I knew for sure, that I just want to see Ena again. Why? I'm not so sure. I could spend all day brainstorming the answers to my questions but it won't lead me anywhere.

For now, I'll just have to deal with it and get the job done. That's all I'm here for anyway...

It wasn't a long walk to the event. Maybe about 20 minutes. The environment didn't change that much. The only difference was that since we weren't in that weird forest I live in, there are no trees.

When we arrived, we were surrounded by blue gravestones? I'm not sure what exactly they were but they were talking amongst each other. They were definitely a creature and a weird one at that.

"Can't you guys hurry? We need to go find a spot!" Moony claimed.

"Ah auction day," Ena starts. "These are the utmost grand of days!" She claims excitedly. "This is going to be so, so-" All of a sudden, she changes state, going into her sad state. "Awful! I think this is going to be the worst day of my life!" She claims.

"Oh Ena, no! It's not going to be the worst day of your life. It's just an auction." I explain, doing my best to cheer her up.

"Wow, look at the crowd today guys! Everyone's ugly..." Moony says. I snicker at the comment. "Today's item must be special. What do you guys think it is?" Moony asks, ignoring Ena's mental breakdown.

"Why would I know?" Ena cries. "I'm too stupid to even imagine anything!"

Before I could go against Ena's claim, she quickly changes back to her normal state. "Argh!" She groans frustratingly. "Sincerest Apologies."

"Uhm, Okay..." I mumble under my breath. How odd.

Suddenly, a VHS-looking machine flew towards the area, popping out what seems to be a puppet that had swirls in his eyes. He began to speak.

"ALRIGHT, Y'ALL! Welcome to the daily auctioning! SOOIE SOOOOOIE!" He stated enthusiastically.

"All your existential troubles will go away soon, okay?"

"Well, I sure do hope so." I heard Ena mumble next to me. I gave her a concerning look but she didn't seem to notice.

"Today we have this... this... dog... inside and hourglass... an hourglass dog. SOOIE!" This little man sure likes to say 'sooie' plenty.
