𝐀𝐥𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐨 𝐗 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐭𝐬 (𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐬+ 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞)

🌸~Guarding Duties

You had finally gotten the sea pass which was a huge deal over the summer. Only so many people were allowed to go into the sea at one time because of the life guard. You would feel bad if he had to watch thousands of people at once and the money for your family was already tight enough.

You see you were the daughter of Massimo Marcovaldo, he was a fish marketer and because of the people in the sea it would chase away the schools of fish that lived below which meant NO money, NO swimming pass. Your sister Guilia always got to go since she was a bit older and had her own job why she never paid for you , you didn't know.

"Please papa, I ask every year" you pleaded asking him at the dinner table.

He sighed and looked at you "Fine you can go, your lucky this year though I have extra money"

You squealed and hopped around in happiness  "Thank you so much papa" You finished eating and went to bed.

Waking up you had a huge smile as you got your favorite (f/c) bikini, sunblock, sunglasses and sandals to leave all you needed was the money. You ran down stairs quickly looking for your father who had already left for work but he left a small letter and the money on the table. 'Dear (y/n) , here's the money stay safe today and don't forget I love you' .

You smiled at the letter and shoved your money into the butt pocket of your black shorts. "Thank you" you whispered with a huge grin on your face.

You arrived about 15 minutes later to the sea and asked the lady who hosted all events for the ticket and a room to dress out into your bathing suit. You had to admit it was hot but the main reason on why you asked so much and wanted to go was because every summer there was the same lifeguard on duty. He had been one of the two boys a few years back who had been revealed as sea monsters and this one in particular you had a major crush on, you couldn't help it.

Anytime he would get out of the water his beautiful blue and purple scales would shimmer in the sun like a polished pearl. What was his name again... Oh right Alberto.

You sat on a lounge chair that they sat out for pedestrians on the beach and took out your sun glasses putting them on and started to tan, you knew you would have swam later on. A few minutes later you watched a little girl in pigtails run past.

"Little lady *whistle* walk please" he called out to that child who ran around the seas boarder line catching your attention just by hearing his voice. Through your glasses you stared as he walked from the water back up to the white and red life guard tower. "I need to swim now...before it gets too late" you sighed softly putting your glasses away in your bag and put it on the chair taking your spot so no other being would.

You stood up and started to walk now catching his attention. "Haven't seen her before" he watched you all the way till he had to watch yet another kid run for another playing in the shallow waters. " She's kinda cute actually" he kept thinking different things about you while you swam back and forth.

"Ercole what are you doing-" you complained as he swam from underneath you picking you up on his shoulders.

"Relax babe ~" he smirked dunking you back to where you thrashed in the blue waters trying to find the surface was hard with your eyes closed but you kept swimming down, waves crashed over and over again over your head making you go unconscious from lack of oxygen, your lungs started to sting and your vision went blur black you were out of it but that's when you felt a pair of hands grab your forearm pulling you up to the surface.

Alberto pulled you from the water and laid you on your back. He put his fish like ear on your chest listening for a heart beat, it was slow and sounded as if it was going out so he got to business. He put two hands on your chest and pushed giving you CPR, he held your nose and put his lips on yours blowing in. Your chest raised and lowered with each breath and finally your vision came back, your heart sped up. You opened your eyes to see him over you still in lip to lip contact.

'An indirect kiss' your eyes widened thinking about it.

"HOLY SHARKS your okay" he breathed happily hugging you "be careful alright?" he let go but you stayed shocked while he held you up. "Hello-?!"

"oh huh uh r-right yeah ill be more careful but it was actually-"

"Ercole I know we already had the security guards take him out haha he wont be coming back anytime soon so just relax a bit" he spoke as you stared longingly into his bright green eyes.

"Thanks for saving me by the way"
