Chapter 2 – Realization

"*Sigh*". Piggy was attempting the impossible: Communicating with the light. Of course, Piggy was just a child, and things like this made sense to him. But again, it was (almost) impossible. He gently picked up the creature, avoiding shattering it; because it felt like porcelain. He hugged it closer to him. Something about this hug was too familiar – But from where? Piggy was lost in thought, with the light still in his arms. It was about 1:10 AM, as Piggy could make out from instincts. He stared past the faded horizon, scanning the land for signals of his family. Suddenly, he felt one family member extremely close by! Where were they, though? Piggy was certain his scan was right. He looked all around, franticly – North, South, East, West; and every space in between. Slowly, he lay his glance down. His instincts suddenly screamed at him - There, right in his arms, was a family member! He gasped, and held the creature up into the moonlight. Then he whispered: "Do you know about the Mccarrot family.?..". "Yes.", was the terse, dramatic reply. Piggy almost dropped the creature in shock, but kept his hooves firmly in place. "What.. kind of entity are you?..", Piggy questioned. "I'm a Huffle!". Piggy blinked, for a second not believing what he just heard. He took a deep breath, set the creature into his lap, and asked his final question: "What's your...... Name?".
